BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I think it looks authentic. I think that stain might wash out. A bath would help with the smell too. Since it is on the suede, you can also sand it to see if that removes it.

This has been a bit of a fiasco. The only Coach I've bought from eBay in YEARS. However, I feel like it may have done some good for any TPF'ers considering buying from her and coming here, without causing me any real hardship in that the bag I received is authentic.


But it certainly goes to show that this seller is deceptive and dishonest.

Why lie about it though? This is further evidence of (at best) lack of ethics!! As for being an honest seller, well her history of listing fakes shows that she doesn't verify items before listing them.

I totally understand the ease and convenience of recycling pictures but for pre-owned items, it's not a good idea. And to lie when confronted with evidence is even more wrong!

Hello all
Can any authenticator help with this one
swing pack black leather with no creed number but does have a patch as shown.
size is 8.5H X 7.5W with a 14.5-23 drop
has a flap magnet pocket on front no pockets inside.

Genuine, I think I have its twin in Camel. Hamptons Leather Swingpack from around 2004 maybe? The style number might be 4752.

What the heck does Original mean anyway? I found a problem with 2 bags, 2 different sellers:

Well, neither are Suttons, but you might be surprised to learn that there are at least two Sutton styles that look nothing alike. I think the second listing copied the other. It doesn't have a creed picture so it can't be authenticated. On the first, the seller just misread the number and then assumed it was a Sutton zip because she thought the last 4 digits were the style number. The number in this bag is a unique number that doesn't include the style number. It is an authentic convertible clutch made around 1989 - 1990.

I have no link but someone is asking me if this is authentic. They recently bought it locally and I am not a professional. I only got these 3 pictures. We are currently in a debate and although IMO the seams don't line up correctly, the stitching looks off to me and the lining seems off center she brought up some valid points. Please help!

It's fake. On an authentic one, the C pattern would be lined up at the seam. I think the fabric texture looks too fuzzy.
