Hello,

Please help me authenticate this item:
Item Name: Coach Page Floral Shoulder Bag #33615
Photos: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=122553036
(seller only gave me one photo since it is a pre order item)

I have recently found this seller on a phone app
Seller stated that it is 100% authentic if not full refund.
and the image is the only photo she provided.
She also said bags are directly bought from United States boutique and are not reject or factory goods as those are considers unauthentic.
The bag include ;
Gift Receipt
Box
Paper Bag
Dust Bag
Tag
Authenticity Card
Care Card

I know it is almost impossible to authenticate just by these little details.
and i really wish to purchase from the seller bcos the seller is local, so it makes things a lot easier for me. But there is something I notice, the turnlock of the bag in the photo have 2 logos. whereas some other photos online including ( http://uk.coach.com/coach-designer-purses-page-shoulder-bag-in-floral-print-leather/33615.html ) only have top logo on the turnlock. Appreciate the help!

Thanks in advance!

The first one is NOT "Cashin-era", it was made in 1998 and is genuine.

The second one seems genuine and is pre-creed. Note that one of the straps is starting to tear off at the base.

First of all, the one photo isn't enough to authenticate anything.

Second - where is the seller located? If she's in the Philippines, we don't recommend buying from any seller there, even if you're also in the P.I. There are a HUGE number of close fakes coming either from or through the Philippines and we can't recommend any sellers from that area, we've seen too many AAA fakes from local sellers..

Another problem is that the seller claims to have an "authenticity card" There is NO SUCH THING as a Coach "authenticity card", there never has been and never will be. Not only has Coach never included any kind of card saying the item with it is authentic, but those kinds of cards don't prove ANYTHING. It's a piece of paper - how hard is it for counterfeiters to print a piece of paper?

And the seller says that "factory goods aren't authentic"? If she means items made BY COACH for the Coach Factory Stores, they certainly ARE authentic!

I strongly recommend that you do NOT buy from that seller, especially with only one photo that was STOLEN FROM COACH'S WEBSITE and is not even a photo of the actual bag being sold.

If you need proof, HERE are the results of a Google Image Search showing all the sites that are using EXACTLY the same photo as the seller - including Macy's and Dillard's, which are two of Coach's authorized resellers and are allowed to use the same photos Coach uses on their website:
https://www.google.com/search?tbs=s...VjprWxOopyMY8WXqCT3RfvIBx3qHQR-OOFNj7-zm0qyBt

and here's Macy's website page with Coach's own stock photo, which ONLY Coach's authorized resellers are allowed to use, anyone else using it is stealing it and violating US copyright laws.:

Thanks, Upon closer inspection of hardware holding straps, it looks to me like maybe the bag has been re-colored / dyed. It looks like that may be brown color on the hardware.

I have a few comments.

I assume you're in either Malaysia or Singapore as I know a lot of sellers do "pre-orders" where you buy the item then they (supposedly) find sellers from whom to buy.

But without seeing pictures of the actual items, there's no way to authenticate them. The one picture you showed is a Coach stock photo. Not only do stock photos sometimes have differences from the final product, they don't tell us anything about the seller's honesty.

Regarding this statement: She also said bags are directly bought from United States boutique and are not reject or factory goods as those are considers unauthentic.

Factory store items are no less authentic than boutique items. They're made by Coach and are absolutely 100% authentic. And in fact, outlet shoppers can often find boutique styles at outlets for less money than at the boutique.

As for MFF (made for factory) items that are sold only in outlet stores, they too are authentic.

Regarding these inclusions:
Gift Receipt
Box
Paper Bag
Dust Bag
Tag
Authenticity Card
Care Card

Keep in mind that although bags might be authentic or might be fake, the above accessories don't prove anything. Authentic props can be sent with fake bags in an attempt to fool a buyer. (Or fake props can be made and sent to give the impression of authenticity.)

Personally, I don't recommend buying from someone who doesn't have the item to show you.

ETA: Hyacinth types more quickly than I!! GMTA!

I can't recommend Liberty Store because few of the listings show adequate pictures, both to prove (or disprove) authenticity but also, to show the true condition.

If these valet sellers want to be successful, they're going to have to improve their listings, IMO.

I agree.

The two smaller Madisons look genuine, but after seeing the condition of the turnlocks I would want to see better photos showing the condition of the rest of the bags. The red one already looks like it's out of shape on the bottom, maybe from overloading.

They arrived today. The box arrived smashed. I heard the UPS truck pull up, and before I could make it down the stairs, I saw the delivery guy sprinting back to his truck through my front window. I paid for expedited shipping, and they were shipped ground (which I will note in feedback), so I'm not sure if they used an appropriate box.
I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the Madison gathered small bags. The purple did not have a hangtag visible in the listing, but it arrived with one. Maybe they reuse photos?
These are closer photos of the hardware and interior on the Madison small gathered bags. Please let me know if additional photos are needed. Thank you!

Part II: The Vintage Madisons
Hyacinth was correct that the bottom of the Biltmore is damaged. It looks the worst when looking at the bottom directly. They were both packed by people that obviously did not care about what they were doing, and the Gracie got the worst of it. The straps were left attached to both bags, and the straps were haphazardly stuffed into the dustbags for shipping.
The Gracie strap may be permanently damaged slightly, as this treatment cracked the edge paint.
Here are photos of damage, hardware, and creeds. Please let me know if any other photos are necessary. Thank you!

That's CRIMINAL.

All I can say is Let 'em have it with both barrels when you leave Feedback. But contact them first and include the photos of the shipping damage and that you WILL be leaving "appropriate Feedback", just so they don't give the usual spiel about "Buyer never contacted us, we would have made things right... " blah blah blah.

I know I would definitely be p1ssed if I was the buyer, and a p1ssed-off Hyacinth is NOT a pleasant thing to experience.

AND DING THEIR STARS TO THE MAX! (Assuming Ebay lets you.)

Caveat: Be careful that your message doesn't imply feedback extortion. Don't threaten to leave negative feedback unless you get a partial or something similar. You cannot ask for something not included in the listing in exchange for not negging.
