I'm pretty sure that the bag is authentic but I don't know how much "fixing" it'll take to make it usable! It looks wider than a swingpack so it might be a file bag.

If you check deep inside the inner pocket, there may be a little white label hidden there with the production codes (2 rows characters).

ETA: It may be style 36378:
Wow. It definitely looks like the same bag. I couldn't find a number tag inside but I did find a "made in myanmar" tag. Thank you Beenburned. It's too bad it's so beat up but at least I know it's not a fake.

Ps. I want to show everyone the other bag in the shopgoodwill "mystery box". I'm not a big fan of brown pebbled bags but I think it looks ok but I would feel better asking the experts. No. K0969-13655. Approx Measurements: 15"Lx10"Hx3"D  Thank you again!

Hello ladies ! Me again lol. Can I please have this rambler looked at ? Thank
You so much ! https://posh.mk/WX5tdfXYpdb
Poshmark
Seller classicmin

If you haven't already bought it, Don't. I'm still figuring this one out but so far I'm not comfortable with it. (Correction of my earlier post) I've seen a very close fake of a L9G-5180 Metropolitan Brief with the correct turnlock and the same serial font BUT the back of the male part of the turnlock was covered by leather and not changeable. All *9G- serials so far seem to be fake.

ETA - I'm almost 100 percent sure that I'm seeing indentations on the back of the turnlock, can anyone confirm?

If that's a "3" and not 12655, the bag looks good. The style number in the picture looks like 12655.

Hi ladies, requesting your kind authentication of the following:

Item: 9850 compartment bag
Seller/site: Britishpoppy on Etsy
Link:https://www.etsy.com/listing/924761...how_sold_out_detail=1&ref=nla_listing_details
Comments: the bag looks great but the suede feels and looks thin and the stitching looks off in places. Oddly enough the leather and suede back of the hang tag feels supple and nice. TIA.
The bag you asked about is okay but beware. Britishpoppy has a fake too:

Sellers who mix authentic and fakes are sneaky and are one of my personal pet peeves.

Hi authenticators, I just find out that you can also authenticate modern coach purse. I have one Coach chambray tabby that I purchase from eBay. The seller says it's authentic but don't have the original packaging and dust bag. And he says he got it from a supplier that has a contract with FedEx for all items that are undeliverable. It's quite expensive and I'm not sure about its authenticity. Could you help me check it?

Item: Coach Chambray Tabby
Seller and site where listed: eBay @ yardkings

Comments: He didn't post the real photos on ebay. So I attach photos below.

Assuming that you've posted your own pictures of the actual bag you received, I believe that the bag in the pictures is authentic.

But with that said, I'm not pleased with yardkings's listings or explanation of the source of items.

Most (if not all) of the listings show only stock photos and no pictures of the actual items. Not only is it infringement of intellectual property of the rights owners (companies whose pictures yardkings stole) but it doesn't let YOU as the buyer know exactly what you're going to receive. As a buyer, you want to see the actual item because too many listings show Coach stock images but the sellers ship fakes.

More concerning about the seller is his explanation of how he acquires his inventory. IMO, it screams either "hot" or fake. (Again, I don't believe the bag is fake but just expressing an opinion on the sourcing.)

Other opinions are welcome.

Thank you! So glad to know it’s real. And thanks for the head’s up on the fake tango

Genuine."Ali Hobo" seems to be the most common name choice but I don't know if that's right.

Hello, Would you please authenticate this pouch bag that I purchased at an estate sale? I really like how it has hinges that that open so I don't need to use my hands when reaching for valuables. It is pretty ingenious. Its about 10.5" x 10". Thanks you
