Item: black court bag
Listing number: not sure, I’m sorry!
Seller and site where listed: eBay seller thread_maven
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Vint...-/293915918271?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292
Comments: so my mom got me this vintage “court” bag because she knows I love collecting vintage leather goods and when I inspected the bag’s creed, I noticed it’s style number was 9104, not 9870 like the other court bags listed. Please help! I attached pictures of the creed
In the case of your bag, it was made before 1994 so the serial number is a random one and doesn't include the style number. The bag is authentic.

However the seller, thread_maven, does have this fake. (EDIT: Update: She DID have this fake! It's been removed.)
The bag had a creed with 0212-578 as the serial number.

9104 is not the style number. This was made when Coach serial numbers were individual and unique and all numbers. It's genuine and from the mid to late 1980s.

See the six Salearea Coach guides posted here for ACCURATE information on Coach creeds and serial numbers:

Hi Authenticators,

May I kindly ask for your kind assistance in authenticating these bags? Thank you in advance.

Item: City Bag
Seller: trunk of jewels
Link: https://www.etsy.com/listing/905557586/5-days-sale-vintage-coach-blue-leather?gpla=1&gao=1&
Comments: I am drawn to the color, but in your experience is the leather quality as good as other bags made in the United States or Costa Rica.

Item:Buckle Bag
Seller: fuhaw
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/Vintage-Coach-Purse-Baby-Blue-5ff7d2bf3cda88ae07bf08a0

Item: City Bag
seller:agirlisagun
Comments: Listing says Ridgefield, but looks like a City Bag.

1- genuine City Bag, but made in 2005, not the 1990s as the seller states so it won't technically be "vintage " until 2025.

I have three of the China-made for-factory bags, and the leather is stiffer than the older ones from the US, Italy and Costa Rica. Those China-made bags from the mid 2000 decade came in some interesting colors that usually hadn't been available on the true vintage versions, but the leather didn't feel quite the same. When I bought mine, I bought them for the colors. There aren't any actual problems with those leathers, but someone who owns a few of the older ones will probably notice the difference.

2- genuine, from 1997. It was called a Soho Belted Pouch.

3- genuine City Bag from 1996

Hello, Please authenticate this small Handbag I purchased from Uptown Consignment. It is about 7.75" x 5.5" x 3.5". It has a Creed with no numbers. Thank you.

We need more than just one photo to authenticate an item.
So sorry, I don't know why they did not all upload. I'm going to try again now.

Thank you @Hyacinth...apologies xx

No, that was my fault, I'm sorry if it sounded bad. We can usually tell if a bag has a different style of strap than what's in the catalog or on a webpage, but it's impossible to know if it's actually been replaced. The STYLE and details of the strap on yours are correct for a Stewardess that was made for the airlines - double thickness, smooth, no large brass grommets on the strap, that sort of thing, but whether it's the original strap or a replacement in the correct style is impossible to know. If it turns out to actually have a stamped logo that we somehow missed, that would be a good indication that it's the original strap.

Even with the airline versions, we know that United Airlines bags had their logo stamped on the strap but if Coach also sold that style to other airlines I don't remember seeing any with other airlines' logos. There's still a lot about vintage bags we DON'T know.
