Dear authenticators,
I found this bag a few days ago at GW. As it was $3.99, I thought it could be worth rehabbing if you think it authentic. Dimensions are 10” tall, 10.5” wide, and about 5” deep at the base. The back plate of the turn lock is flat. Thanks so much in advance!

I believe it's authentic (made in NYC) but the serial number is totally illegible.

It almost looks like the serial number may have been scratched out, but there's no way to be sure from just a photo. Silly thing to do if it was, since I believe the bag looks genuine. It's a Stewardess but there's no way to even roughly date it without knowing if it actually had a serial number, all I can say is that it was made before 1988.

Authentic, made in 1998.

ETA: Hyacinth beat me because I was busy finding more fakes from the poshmark seller.

Yep, PM is really out-doing themselves this month when it comes to sellers listing multiple fakes.

Have you spotted that fake Posh "authenticator" PAPABAILEY recently? I wonder if they finally showed her the door? The one who lied through her teeth about how she worked for Coach and Coach was going to issue fines to fakes sellers? Funny, because Coach doesn't issue fines because that would be illegal, they don't give a fat rat's patoot about fake "vintage" items, and that "authenticator" couldn't "auth" her way out of a paper bag. Another one of Posh's "experts" hopefully bites the dust.

Many thanks, Hyacinth and BeenBurned! I had wondered if this could be a pre-serial no. NYC bag. The area under the creed is smooth to the touch. A5077726-C5B4-4817-8E67-E3D063E462CB.jpeg

If it's smooth then it would probably be very early 1980s or late 1970s, I think the style was introduced right around 1977. Serial numbers came in probably in the early 1980s.

Hi Authenticators,

May I kindly ask for your kind assistance in authenticating these bags? Thank you in advance.

Comments: I am drawn to the color, but in your experience is the leather quality as good as other bags made in the United States or Costa Rica.

Hello again Authenticators,
I see you're busy today so at your convenience I was wondering if someone can check this (Devon?) bag. I bought it a couple of months ago on eBay but it's just not for me. It's cute but I need my pockets. Ps. No matter what, you won't see it on Poshmark. Lol. Thank you as always.

Original Item title: Vintage COACH Crossbody Shoulder British Tan Made in USA 0670-301

I'm sorry about that. I wasn't sure if it was too late to add the link. I'll definitely include it next time. Thank you so much Beenburned! I appreciate it.

Comments: so my mom got me this vintage “court” bag because she knows I love collecting vintage leather goods and when I inspected the bag’s creed, I noticed it’s style number was 9104, not 9870 like the other court bags listed. Please help! I attached pictures of the creed
