Good morning, and Happy 2021! Request to authenticate this Goodwill purchase.

99% confident it is, checking in case I decide to sell it. Also the Coach Leatherware logo on the top front looks different than some purses I see on Ebay that are 13914...
I think the bag is fine.

It looks like the difference in the logo is because those with the horse and carriage are boutique (full price) items and those with the "Coach" logo are MFF.

Other opinions are welcome.

Hello Authenticators,
I hope everyone is having a good day. I bought this bag over a year ago but I think it's time for me to let it go. *sigh* I was hoping someone could look at it for me before I post it. Thank you so much! ☺️

This might be too much of a pain to authenticate, but I thought I would give it a shot.

I believe it's genuine but that's not in any way a solid authentication. I have no idea why anyone would do that to a creed patch unless they thought it was fake or didn't want to make it easy to sell to someone else. There's definitely no way I'd ever recommend that anyone buy it for resale.

More opinions are welcome.

Hello again friends!

This item is described as a "Cashin era" Coach bag. I'd love to hear from the wonderful, knowledgeable ladies here if they think the bag is authentic, and what style they think it is.

Item: "Cashin Era NYC Coach bag"
Where purchased: Goodwill
Comments: I really want to own an NYC made Cashin era bag. I know it's in pretty bad shape. I will be taking it to a professional to work on restoring the bag. Is this worth the trouble?

Thank you for taking the time to look ast my photos.
It's authentic but I don't believe it's "Cashin era."
If something has a creed, it can't be Cashin era. This was probably made between 1978 and 1983. I believe it could be restored. A possibly easier fix would be to remove the handles and replace them with handles off another bag.

Oh good grief!

The bag is authentic.

But obviously, the store where she purchased it thinks that if they obliterate anything identifying the brand, it covers them in the case of a fake. (That's totally incorrect though. Fakes are illegal to sell PERIOD.)

Her info about the bag being a full-priced style (not MFF) if it doesn't have an "F" is incorrect. There was a time that Coach didn't identify MFF bags with an F. Instead, they used the bullet stamp for outlet bags.

Although it's hard (if not impossible) to see in the picture, her replies to questions says that there's a Z in front of the style number. That means that the bag is a style that was made to be sold at a discounter such as Nordstrom Rack.

It's a genuine 1999 reissue or MFF (made for Factory Outlet Stores) remake of the Classic Shoulder Bag. Coach remade a lot of classic styles in the 1990s, usually as outlet store bags or "catalog only" items.
