Coach station bag
Seller: susani9326
Comment: I am not familiar with this serial number being a common one found in fakes. Did you the bag is fine and the turnlock was replaced later?
I have a few creeds with a similar font saved in my files, also from station bags. At the time I think I thought it was probably okay. With this bag, I think it could be fake. The handle looks wrong. I'd need to see it from the top to be sure.

There are 3 or 4 bags with that font in my files too, along with a 1992 or 1993 Travel Weave garment bag with the correct creed wording for that style. It will be interesting to see what the top handle on that Station Bag looks like.

Here's the Travel Weave creed and serial in case you don't already have it. I think it was style number 550 and was listed as "New" in the Fall 1992 Special Edition catalog.

The Station Bag serial pics you have might be the same ones I have. Instead of posting pics I'll just post the serial numbers, if they're the same as yours I won't need to post the photos:
2749-404, (I think), black
0550 449, BT, no hyphen in the serial
0127-412, BT
All of those are Station Bags.

Not only does the turnlock look brand new, but so does the strap and strap hardware, the strap seems just a tiny bit narrow for a Station Bag. It's even possible that the top handle was replaced too although the handle's hardware looks dark enough to be original. The d-rings holding the strap also might be original. But several of the serial digits look exactly the same as the other serials we have photos of with the same digits.

But right now I need to get some sleep. :sleepy:

Thanks! I didn't have the travel weave in my files. I have the top two numbers, not 0127-412. And I have the one I posted above.

So, I had a duffle like this (brown) and one in red. And I sold them. What an idiot moment.

Of the two, the brown was my favorite. Looking to time travel here.

Good morning, and Happy 2021! Request to authenticate this Goodwill purchase.

99% confident it is, checking in case I decide to sell it. Also the Coach Leatherware logo on the top front looks different than some purses I see on Ebay that are 13914...

Hello again friends!

This item is described as a "Cashin era" Coach bag. I'd love to hear from the wonderful, knowledgeable ladies here if they think the bag is authentic, and what style they think it is.

Item: "Cashin Era NYC Coach bag"
Where purchased: Goodwill
Comments: I really want to own an NYC made Cashin era bag. I know it's in pretty bad shape. I will be taking it to a professional to work on restoring the bag. Is this worth the trouble?

Thank you for taking the time to look ast my photos.

Authentic, made in 1996.

It's authentic but I don't believe it's "Cashin era."
