Thanks. Littleton is #4144. Here's a listing with good pictures: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-No-41...agYBV0DGWq5qhnwuc%2F0%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

I know it's not conclusive, but don't the hang tags of both look like the holes are punched too low which is common in fake hang tags?

Good point about the hangtags!

Too bad the seller didn't post more photos of the bags from THIS listing instead of other items and unrelated nonsense.

Scroll down to the FAQs section, go to General Forum Usage, and read the section on posting Images. The photos can be stored at a photo-hosting website like Photobucket and you can just post a link to that particular album as long as it's saved at the site in a Public album.

Or you can use the Manage Attachments link a few inches below the Reply box - and follow the prompts if you want to use a photo that's stored as a photo in a folder on your compurter. Be sure your photos fall under the maximum size limits.
Thank you Hyacinth! I just set up a photo bucket so here goes my first try.

Yikes, Not sure why I can't post two photos at the same time. Hopefully, I'll get the hang of this soon! Here is the creed to the previous photo. Thank you.

These look a lot like Littleton drawstrings, but those had creeds in the bottom and no Coach lozenge on the bottom.

Thanks!

They do look a lot alike but the light blue color still makes me nervous.

ETA - Never mind, I just noticed "Chambray" listed as one of the colors.

Good point about the hangtags!

Actually the chambray color is closer to navy according to the ad picture. The only colors I can remember that are close to that light blue are mint and periwinkle. It doesn't look like either but you can't rely on photos. I don't like the thread colors. They contrast too much, compared to both the ad picture and the listing of the known authentic bag. Plus, why would they make a change eliminating a creed during an era when they were still putting creeds in cosmetic cases? There would have to have been more than one production run for that to happen and I don't think this style was made very long judging by how few I've seen.

So I guess, it's a maybe. If one is authentic, the other one probably is too.

The bag seems genuine but I don't like how shiny that leather looks. That's not natural for a vintage black Saddle Pouch. The strap is showing more wear than the bag is which could be because whatever treatment was used on the bag wasn't used on the strap. Also it's been doubled up through the "keepers" on the sides of the bag to make the strap shorter and may show some aftereffects of that.

The seller also sold a fake Willis with a J8P- serial prefix on March 24th.

CAUTION!! I would avoid 1busymomof4 . She has another current listing for a fake.

Please have a peek at this one. It appears to have an outlet bullet but the style number isn't right for the bag it's on:

Gosh! stay away from 1busymomof4!

Someone paid $125 for this bag with a GAD serial number.

Thanks so much. I'm going to pass on this seller. I had the same thought about the sheen on this bag. Mix in a fake bag and it's not worth the risk.

Could someone please authenticate this Coach bag?
From GW...saw it on 3 different trips...thought it was too dirty...finally bought it.
Most of the outside spots in these pics came off with a damp sponge...we'll see about the rest of it :)
Approx. 7.5" diameter bottom, 11"h. Strap 20" to top of bag.
A 1996 Sonoma Small Drawstring Natural Grain #4905?
Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, missed the first one. I THINK the green Willis could just be a plant mistake, I saw it earlier but the rest of the bag and the serial number stamping seem ok. That wrong style number could be why it was sent to the outlet in the first place.

1busymomof4 SHOULD BE AVOIDED LIKE THE PLAGUE !!!
