BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

There's also another serious problem that we usually don't mention in posts, but that's to keep unscrupulous sellers from leaving that damning detail out of their listing photos. Here's ANOTHER creed and serial number combo from EXACTLY the same month, year, plant, and even the style number from the same style, a City Bag. Its details match the one BeenBurned posted but don't match yours, and if yours was genuine the details of both WOULD match if all the codes in the serial numbers were exactly the same including the fonts and spacing. It's hard to read because it's dark but except for the month code "K" it's exacly the same as the other 9790 one that BeenBurned posted. And if you think the only difference is the underscore, then you didn't even look at the creed stamp.

I appreciate the info but not so much the delivery. I am not a scammer and I did look at the creed..for way too long.
The thing is YOU dont know what faculties a person has, how perhaps they might actually have troubles literally seeing. You assume laziness, ignorance, or lack of character first without knowing anything about what the person you are responding to might me dealing with.
I literally have a neurological and central nervous system disorder that makes things like staring at creeds trying to deciminate differences in mine from another not just difficult, but painful. I am not a careless person or someone trying to scam anyone. I CAME HER AND TOLD YOU MY BAG WAS FAKE. I had my hat in my hands asking for advice so that I wouldnt make the same mistake and you have just been awful.
People are going through a lot these days. Struggling with so much and being judge by you and your derogatory tone...its just ********.

I suggest you might NOT want to assume that whatever faculties you might be losing are being ignored. You're not the only one with vision and medical problems. So please DON'T tell me what I'm "assuming" or what anyone else is "assuming" because you don't have any idea.

As for the creed - the words and formats of both are completely different. If your problems don't even allow you to pick up those differences, then for heaven's sake STOP trying to figure out for yourself if something is genuine. I have my own vision problems, possibly partly due to 15 years of authenticating AND comparing small differences with a magnifying glass, so don't ever "assume" that no one understands your problems. If you're lucky, you have insurance. I DON'T. But I know when to ask for other opinions or help from someone with a better pair of eyes when something isn't clear. If you can't accept that someone can see or analyze those details better than you can, then ask for help. If you can't accept what we've told you and keep on telling you, then spend a few dollars for a professional opinion.

I'm done here too, I hope you find what you're looking for because obviously there's a trust issue here that doesn't seem to have any logical explanation. Maybe some day you may be able to accept that some people do this authentication thing to try and help other people and keep them from being cheated. And we do it WITHOUT PAY, on our own time and our own dime. So please don't ever "assume" that you know what other people are thinking or what their motives are.

It's a genuine Lindsay Bag from the early 1990s, style number 9888.

It's neither one. The style number is right in the serial number - 6606. It was made in 2003, seems genuine, and I don't know the name. Coach made many similar mini bags.
