i'm not sure if I'm the only one but I marvel at people who come here for free advice and then get snarky. I have learned so much from reading this thread and ALWAYS appreciate how quickly the authenticaters respond. So thank you for all of your hard work and the fact that you give so freely of your personal time.

Thank you :flowers:

Good afternoon, all. I'm back into a closet that appears to have a nearly never ending supply of Coach bags that I picked up over the years. Everything in there is from either a flea market or garage sale (remember those?) from five or more years ago. As I sort, and choose bags to part with, getting them authenticated here is so helpful. Today I'm thinking over these two:

Equestrian slim duffle? Style 9806
Acquired from garage sale / flea market
Just looking to check on authenticity
Dimensions are: 11 x 11 1/2 with a strap of about 38-39 inches

It's authentic. It's called equestrian slim bucket.

Thank you.

Sometimes it feels like (to me anyway) that it's not worth my/our time because too often, if we can't tell a poster what they were hoping to hear, they twist things and make us the bad guys. (And it doesn't just happen here at TPF.) It feels like "no good deed goes unpunished" and I want to throw in the hat.

But then we get a post like yours (and others here) and it makes it worthwhile.

Thank you for your kind words.

Authentic.

This is SO helpful--thank you both for the replies. As I've sat here with the bags, I wonder about keeping the Maggie for the new Grand daughter!! Now I know it's authentic--after all, I have to start her off right!

Thank you all for all of the times that you've enabled me to purchase and all of the times that you've saved me from a lot of trouble. All of your work and knowledge is truly appreciated.

Receipt looks bogus. Since when do they not show what was purchased?! Attached tag looks wrong too. This is not a black bag. It looks like a new Basquiat bag but no mentions of it and this collection hasn't even gone on sale let alone the outlet!
I am very uncomfortable with that bag, that listing and the receipt. The font on the receipt is wrong and the tag as well as the color code on the "receipt" show it's for a black bag.

It's weird because when I googled, the phone number on the receipt came up for a Coach Outlet in Montebello, CA but when I opened the link, it's a person's name to whom that number is registered.

Don't know anything about the bag but the receipt is for a mini sierra. The tag may have been from a mini sierra as well. The date on the gift receipt is the end of September at an outlet. This style wasn't released in the outlets.
