Would y’all mind authenticating this one? I’m trying one last time to get a City in a lighter brown color. First one had mold, and the second had altered (shortened) straps! Thanks!!

Seller Id: johnww1936
It's authentic.

Hi there again so I just wanted to find out for sure if this vintage suspender strap bag is genuine based on the previous messages Thank you
I feel much the same as Hyacinth although I'm less comfortable with the plaque than she is. (I've also seen way more than my share of those types of plaques that are similar in design to staples of fakes. I've seen fake Coach, kate spade, prada, dolce and gabbana and others. Although I don't recall having seen the type from a pre-creed Coach, I can't imagine that the fakers wouldn't have made them.)

Additionally, the stitching is sloppier than I would expect (and accept) from Coach, adding to my doubts about the bag.

My feeling toward the bag is that it's one I would never have purchased for myself. I like to resell bags when I tire of them and I'm not comfortable that this is authentic so would never be able to sell or donate. (I wouldn't donate a fake because the thrift stores would resell and fool someone else.)

if you've received the bag, got it cheap enough, love the leather and style and never plan to resell, keep it whether it's Coach or not. Just please don't donate or resell without removing the plaque. (Since a seller must know items are authentic and this item can't be verified, it would be a violation of policy (and the law) to sell, even at a yard sale.)

This is my 2-cents worth.

I have only one more bag I'd like to identify for today (famous last words, I know)

This looks like an older basic bag?
Seller: gigi56859

Genuine Basic bag, 1970s or very early 80s. It looks like at least one of the strap clips was replaced, or maybe the entire strap. Not unusual for a bag that's 40 years old.

I just bought this from eBay. Is it authentic? There's no serial number and the zipper has been fixed, so no YKK zipper indication. I couldn't get a straight answer from the seller. Thanks.

Post a link to the listing and the seller's name. Post a picture of the back of the flap, showing the back of the turnlock.

11" w x 8.5" h x 3.5" d

These are my photos.

First of all, YKK on a zipper doesn't mean a darned thing. READ MY SIGNATURE.

Do you already own it, and how long have you had it? You said the last ones were your photos. Because the bag is fake.

The leather quality especially on the front of the bag is poor.
That size and style bag should always have a serial number.
The creed is badly stamped and hard to read but I can see "scrTCHES" pretty clearly. WHERE'S THE "A"?

If you bought it recently from an Ebay seller you should be able to get your money back. Please post the Ebay listing URL as required in the READ ME post at the top of each page.
