This is a curious one. I'm curious about others' opinions on the bag!

Comments: I've never seen this type of creed on a fabric bag. Although the creed stamping, stitching and lining seem okay, the prefix has too many characters and is scrambled on top of that! (And a scrambled creed on an item made AFTER a legit creed seems odd.)

And this is a comparison of Yonderbound's bag, supposedly style 8888 vs. Coach stock image for style 757:

I'm leaning towards fake but I'm not certain enough to report. The creed looks sloppy. What is that vertical line next to the "F"? The "0" looks to be a different shape than the comparison. Have you ever seen this style in detail? The "est. 1941" on the hardware seems unusual for the time period. Does some of the hardware seem silver and some gold?

Here's another weird one from the same seller.

This is supposedly a limited edition in which the number if left blank. Has anyone ever seen that?

I thought items like that launch tote from new line intros were give-aways! EIGHT HUNDRED BUCKS??? That seller is smoking dope. I've never seen that one before but I've seen a few others from launches and special events for various charities or organizations. Most of them are just printed fabric shopping totes like stores would sell for 15 or 20 bucks at the cashiers desk if it just had the store name stamped on it There's really no way to authenticate any of them.

I'll have to look tomorrow, my eyes are really tired and they need some rest.

None of the serial number prefix digits make any sense in the positions they're in except maybe the F, but I don't know what that vertical line in front of the F is supposed to be either. It seems like we've seen -8888 used as the style number in some bags trying to look like samples, but I can't find any photos right now and there's no way to authenticate any of them so that doesn't help any. The thin line down the center of the strap is too light and too thin. And we've never found a China plant "sample" with such a stinking mess of a serial prefix.

The only thing I can see in favor of it being genuine is that the Scribble pattern and all the gaps in the color seem to be pretty accurate, but with a decent computer design program that's not hard to do. There's also something buzzing around in my head about serial numbers with an "IF" in the prefix but I can't remember anything else about them right now.

It's either a real or a fake sample, so there's no way to authenticate it.

That's exactly my thoughts. I certainly wouldn't buy nor would I report.

I thought the vertical line next to the "F" looked like it might have been a faker-favorite "J" but the bottom curly part is squished. I thought the "6" looked slightly different on the questionable bag than on the genuine one:

If you find anything with 8888 or "IF," I'd love to see it. (But I'm not reading it as "I" but as "J.")

Good afternoon dear authenticators! Request to authenticate please. Thank you!

Item: Station
Where purchased or how obtained: thrift store
Comments: Dimensions are 9" height, 9" width (almost I think), 2" depth. Pardon the sideways and upside down photos. I have trouble correcting this, I hope it is not too terribly annoying. Thanks for understanding! Finally able to right side the creed at least!
