There may not be enough information for an authentication but here it is:

two bags: backpack and an equestrianish

seller = oneloveswoosh

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-Of-2-Us...402?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e9de6c0b2

:smile1:

The Saddle Pouch may be ok but it's impossible to tell if the backpack is without a good creed photo. Backpacks were widely faked.

THE SELLER oneloveswoosh ALSO LISTED A FAKE WILLIS EARLIER THIS MONTH. WE DON'T RECOMMEND BUYING FROM ANYONE WHO CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO CHECK THEIR ITEMS' AUTHENTICITY. This seller should be avoided, just like all sellers who have listed fakes and who can't be bothered to show photos of the bags' creeds and serial numbers.

I did a search for the seller name before I posted. I must be doing something wrong. Thanks for the information. It's very helpful. I just popped my fake Willis in the mail back to the Etsy seller.

I would like to have this bag checked for authenticity. It is my personal bag, a vintage coach carrier. I listed it on ebay and they have pulled it. i have no idea why! please let me know what you think about its authenticity. i have had many carriers, and this seems no different from the others? thank you

Please authenticate this bag for me. It is, I believe, a Kimball Zip 9911. It is in almost new condition but the inside looks weird to me. The interior leather on the creed pocket is somewhat pebbled and under the pocket is a greyish color. The interior suede is very smooth but that could be from no use. What do you think? Measurements are pretty much exact to the '93 catalog. 8 1/2 by 6 x 3. Also the hangtag does not say "leatherware" but it could have b been changed.

With reference to oneloveswoosh, her previous listing for a fake Willis and her current listing(s) with inadequate pictures for authentication purposes, I found this listing that I'm curious about.

One bag's creed picture is illegible but the other looks strange to me. Opinions, please?

The Backpack creed is the one that's totally illegible, and it shouldn't be, genuine Coach stampings usually don't wear down that fast.. But not only does the Tote have brass buckles and silver strap grommets, the Backpack does too.

Both the serial number AND creed stampings in the Tote look off, along with the silver grommets. The Coach name in the cartouche is too small, the underline under the "No" is too short and is a dot instead of a line. Compare it to the two genuine serials below it - the fake on top, the real ones beneath.

ONE MORE REASON TO AVOID SELLER " oneloveswoosh " LIKE THE PLAGUE! Not only don't they make any effort to authenticate their items, but they also have NINE Neutrals and NINE NEGATIVES in the last 12 months. I remember when a cwap record like that would have gotten them kicked off Ebay!

hyacinth, any thoughts on this bag that i posted above (the carrier)? is there any reason to question its authenticity?

Everything I can see points to it being a genuine Carrier Bag style number 9800 made in the middle 1980s. There's absolutely NOTHING that makes me think it's counterfeit. If someone reported that listing they're an idiot.

It's really hard to see details of the bag, the lighting is very weak and the focus in some shots isn't good either. I wouldn't want to be asked to give a written authentication based just on those photos.

Pockets sometimes had a different grain than the rest of the bag, it was a way for Coach to use up leather that wasn't the same grain as the rest of the bag. I don't see anything that looks like a problem.

Thank you hyacinth. I never had any doubt, but somebody (I think somebody is harassing me) reported this bag to ebay, and they have "suspended my selling account". I will call them and try to find out more information. This is the third time in 6 weeks that I have had an authentic bag pulled, which is why i'm getting very suspicious!
thank you!!

This has happened to at least one other seller who is a tpfer. See this thread: http://forum.purseblog.com/ebay-forum/bags-improperly-removed-as-counterfeit-on-ebay-903108.html

That happened to me the other day. I called Ebay to try to straighten it out, and just about everything they told me was a lie. I hope you have better luck with them than I did.

ETA: Oops, Whateve beat me to it.
