BLACK LEATHER COACH SHOULDERBAG *AUTHENTICATED*(21200847).

Seller goodwill

Just FYI, any Coach "authentication" done by MyPoupette is worse than no authentication at all. My Poupette is completely incapable AND incompetant when Coach items are involved, and searching for their name here at tPF makes interesting reading.

But even incompetants can sometimes be saved by the Law Of Averages. It's a genuine Canterbury Bag (the name was changed to Nottingahm Bag in 1995)

Lol, Hyacinth. I will have to search the PF for some late night reading. Thanks for the authentication.

One more:

seller = Fruitblood (etsy)

Burgundy Willis

Listing:

https://www.etsy.com/transaction/1022145644

Authentic, also not a basic bag. No measurements so I can't identify, but possibly a Swagger.

fake.

This is my first burn, so I won't complain too much. If you have time, can you tell me what to look for on the Willis? I was so excited about that one too. :(. I seriously won't be a buyer mcbuyerpants without authenticating first.
Did you use Paypal to pay for the Etsy fake from FruitBlood? If so, you can file a SNAD (not as described) dispute.

You can also google "mypoupette scam" and find a healthy number of interesting links.

That would be fine. I'm happy to help.

Here a few more pictures. The seller sent me a nice message when I first bought this bag (my second ever etsy buy) and said his store was new and thanked me for the purchase. I'm going to send him and email and explain using the details from Whateve. I'm hoping he will just take it back and refund me. I DID pay with paypal, so now I know I have other options if he doesn't cooperate. You guys rock! Thanks for your help.

There are more things wrong: 1. there shouldn't be grooves in the back of the female part of the turnlock, 2. the ends of the dowel should be leather covered rather than just painted, 3. the dowel is too short, 4. the factory code of P was never used for the United States - it was only used for Costa Rica, 4. the font used for the numbers is too thick.

The seller has already replied and offered a full refund, so happy ending. Thanks for helping me. I really appreciate it.

I'm going to take a break from buying and rehab some of these bags. I have a red geometric that I made worse in my attempts to rehab. I ended up dyeing it burgundy and it turned out lovely. As soon as I get the hardware back on it I'll share pictures in the rehab thread.

Love to see it! Not too many of us have success with re-dyeing.
