Hello! Can someone please authenticate this coach small phoebe for me? I don't know how to post the link but I took screen shots of pics (from eBay) of the bag, the style number, and the seller info. Everything looks good but I'm obviously not an expert so any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance! It seems authentic but the pictures are pretty bad and it looks like it needs a rehab. The seller didn't bother to give measurements so there's no way to know what style it is either. The price seems a bit high for the bag's "fair" condition especially without knowing what style it is and without pictures of the areas that usually get stained or worn easily like the inside or the bottom corners. I definitely wouldn't commit to buy it without a very close examination. Just my opinion.

Thanks Hyacinth, I have been looking for a rehab project, if I can get the seller down to a good price I will get measurements and all that.

It is mostly fabric so I would wash it in the sink with soapy water. Or you could pull out the lining and just clean that part. The leather won't get ruined if it gets wet. The lining on mine is stained green. I think I washed it when I first got it, but the green didn't wash out completely.

I collect mini coin purses and most of mine were in pristine condition when I got them so I don't use them. I have the twin of this one in pink, and the lipstick case in gold.

I use this one all the time. On mine, the metal has started to rust. I got a replacement keyring but that won't help the chain. The leather has started to peel. I'll probably just repair that with leather cement and puff paint.

thanks for the advise! :) I'll take note of the leather cement & puff paint one :D

Verification, pease?

item: Vintage Black Coach Bucket Bag

Seller: jtriay

Comments: I believe this style number belongs to another bag. This has 13 watchers at the time of this posting. Seller has other Coach bags for sell also, didn't do any checking on those.

The entire serial number font is wrong and would never have been used by the C plant. There are other problems too but it's definitely fake.

This bag and wristlet from their Completeds is also fake:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Bag-S...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
The pattern is wrong and there are misspellings in the creed and the style number belongs to a Mini Sig Pocket Flap.
