It's authentic and looks like a Chrystie bag, style 9892.

ETA: The pictures shown don't appear to have been taken in a Goodwill store. In case the pictures show a different item, you should be aware that it's not a good idea to use pictures of a similar item to verify authenticity of another. They may not be the same.

thanks BeenBurned, I did asked the same to that shop and it says, it was taken at the yard during cleaning time and the lighting was the best apparently

Hello again! Could I trouble the wonderful authenticators for opinions on a few more bags?

Item: Coach New York Vintage Stewardess - Tan
Listing number: ? (not sure how Posh does item numbers)
Seller: zmontiel
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/Coach-New-York-Vintage-Stewardess-Tan-5e0b8dc1d948a187e96d4b82
Comments: Any thoughts on how easy or not it would be to repair the damage? Or if it could be used without fixing those issues?

Item: Vintage Made in NYC Coach Stewardess bag
Listing number: ?
Seller: linz12386
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/Vintage-Made-in-NYC-Coach-Stewardess-bag-5ea9d9a5bb5937e5cd1a330d
Comments: Reading recent posts from @Hyacinth, I know color is hard to determine! The seller says this is a darker brown, and I'm looking more for tan. Is it possible that a dark brown bag would have lightened this much with age?

Item: Coach Stewardess Bag Tabac (British Tan?) Leather With Brass Hardware Style No 9525 Made In The Factory In New York City-
Listing number: 688416806
Seller: ProVintageGear
Link: https://www.etsy.com/listing/688416806/summer-sale-coach-stewardess-bag-tabac
Comments: Looks as though the stitching on one of the pockets has come apart at the corner. I'm thinking a shoe repair store could probably fix this, if necessary - thoughts? Also, searching through this forum, it looks as though this seller has an...interesting...history.

Thank you again!!

Edited to delete one bag. Sorry!

Could you please authenticate this? It's on Canadian Poshmark

Seller is Debi2556

seller: dreeannspringe-0

Authenticate or opinion please! I have another puzzle. I love the Rust color, but again do not see any coach marks on this bag. (however the seller has covered the bag with literature making it hard to see!) Are there any coach bags without marks? I have wanted a side ring shoulder strap style bag. I know you can't officially authenticate without marks or creed and would love to hear your educated opinions on this bag. Thanks for your time and knowledge!!

I've seen this bag somewhere before. I think it is authentic. I believe there is a very faint Coach stamp in the suede inside in the first picture.

All are authentic. I think the first one would be a big rehab challenge. If you don't repair the damage, it will get worse as those are areas of stress. The leather texture looks worn out and there might be mold. It is possible to repair the damage with leather glue and puffy paint but I think it would be difficult to get it looking like new. It's hard to tell color in photos. I believe the pictures of the second one were taken with flash, which could account for the lighter color it appears. It doesn't appear to be dark enough to be mahogany but you can't really tell in a photo. It could be the same color as the third one. Neither are tan IMO. I believe a shoe repair store could fix the tear in the third one.

I always think the seller is trying to hide some sort of damage when they cover part of the item, especially when the cover stays in the same place throughout all the various photo angles and positions. And she's had the same bag listed since at least October 2017!

I can see the Coach logo though, she even copied Debi's guide showing how the early Coaches were just stamped with the logo.

Please be clear about where items were purchased or listed or if they haven't been purchased yet, where the item is located.

Here on Coach, we're pretty flexible in our willingness to authenticate items that aren't listed, but we want accurate and honest information.

If as you claim, you will be purchasing from a goodwill store, there's no way the 'seller' (goodwill) took pictures at a yard sale.

Someone isn't telling (you) the truth.

I grew up in California and we said you guys. My husband grew up in Texas and his sisters say y’all. My FIL was from New Jersey and he said youse guys.

Sounds about right. I think maybe "you all" (two words) falls somewhere around the Mason-Dixon Line with "you guys" and "youse guys" to the north of it and "y'all" to the south.
