Item: Vintage Coach red leather crossbody bag
Seller and site where listed: daniellealter; Poshmark, $33
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/Vintage-Coach-red-leather-crossbody-bag-5efd4dea284e99b478d0606b

Comments: I believe that this is a Coach Scooter Bag 9893 (missing hangtag). I don't know if the creed pic is clear enough to make an authentication (?) but please take a look and let me know what you think. My understanding is that this bag was probably made in the late 1980s or early 1990s, is that correct?

Thanks so much!
I'll apologize for the rant up front. Too many sellers don't do their homework and IMO, those who mix genuine and fakes are more dangerous than a seller who never listed an authentic item!

Please wait for others' opinions on the bag in question as I don't authenticate PM items. I don't want to support the site but I will comment on several of the seller's other items.

Clearly daniellealter doesn't verify (nor even google) the authenticity of her items. She has current and sold fakes:

Genuine, from the early 1990s. I believe the style was introduced in 1991, but there may be a few that had the old format 3+4 serial numbers.

ETA - BTW, I agree completely with BeenBurned about the fakes-friendly site that is Poshmark. I just don't take the time to look deeply into a seller's current and previous listings, and I don't keep records of listings and sellers I've reported due to sheer laziness, so I usually don't look into a seller's past record.

I haven't bought anything from Poshmark except for one bag that I just couldn't walk away from, and hopefully never will buy from them again. Luckily the one bag I bought was one of the good ones.

Good Evening authenticators, could you please help me authenticate these couple of items from ebay? Thank you

Seller; heydudeitsdani

Seller: you-are-lookinggood

Seller: jiac2009469Feedback

Sorry for so many payday is coming and I want to make the right decision! Thank you
None of the listings have enough pictures or the right pictures needed for authentications, especially when they're all so well-faked.

Regarding the second listing from you-re-looking-good, of the 7 pictures, 6 are stolen from Coach or other sites. Only 1 picture isn't a stock image! And her description is plagiarized also from Nordstrom and/or possibly Coach. If a seller is too lazy to do the work involved to take her own pictures and write her own descriptions, she doesn't deserve your hard-earned money.

Item:Scooter Bag 9893 (early 1990s, Navy?)
Seller: Goodwill Store
Dimensions: 8 x 5.5 x 2

Comments: I've been on a Scooter Bag kick lately so imagine my surprise when I saw this bag lying face down on the floor at the local Goodwill store, and I was even more surprised when I turned it over to find that it was marked only $3.99! (Make that $3.98, there was a 1986 Penny inside of the bag!) I think that it is navy but I will have to wait for the rehab to confirm that.

Please give an opinion about authenticity. I couldn't get a very good picture of the creed but I can try again if you need a better shot. Thanks in advance for your expert assistance.

Hello authenticator, I would kindly ask you for your advice about authenticity of this wallet, I posted it yesterday but maybe it drowned somewhere. It was a gift and the local thrift store said it could be returned within three days if it is fake. So I would be very kind if someone could help. It is a special edition and is hard for me to find similar for online comparision.
