  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number

  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read

It's genuine, looks like a Camera Bag, style 9760 from around 1987. I don't have any idea where the seller came up with the name "Taylor" but that's not correct.

Unfortunately, shopchicaj sold you a fake.

And whether you have a case at this point or if she's honest and would do the right thing is anyone's guess. I'm not optimistic when it comes to Poshmark sellers.

Awww, I’m sorry to hear that but, I am grateful for your help. I just chucked it in the waste bin. I doubt it since Poshmark only gives you three days, and it has been years. I should have posted it here prior to purchasing it. Thankfully I didnt spend too much money on it and I’ve learned my lesson.

Comments: I believe that this is a Coach Scooter Bag 9893 (missing hangtag). I don't know if the creed pic is clear enough to make an authentication (?) but please take a look and let me know what you think. My understanding is that this bag was probably made in the late 1980s or early 1990s, is that correct?

I told the seller about these other bags and she said she was selling them for her friend. So, I think I got lucky with a genuine bag, but I will make sure not to trust this seller again.

It doesn't matter who she's selling them for (if she's even telling the truth). It's illegal to sell fakes PERIOD and her "friend" is letting her put her account at risk.

Now that we know LindasCoachCloset knows her items are fake and didn't end them, we can assume she's not an honest seller.
