There's been a LOT of repair work done to that bag, and not by an expert either. The strap mountings have been changed and the ends of the strap re-stitched and maybe the strap was even shortened. The turnlock was replaced with a non-Coach version, the leather tabs on the bag for the strap mountings look like they may be original but have been taken apart at the top and then been very badly restitched and wouldn't have or NEED rivets on a Coach in original condition, the D-rings on them don't look original and in general the only parts that seem to be original are the main panels and inside pocket with the creed stamp, most or all of the contrast piping, and parts of the leather strap mountings.

Technically it's not fake but there have been some very non-professional repairs and replacements. It's not in original condition any more. It looks like it might be a City Bag.

Thank you for the info! I have no plans to resell, just for personal use. If I ever find a high quality leather repair shop I may get it fixed. Unfortunately the shop in my town is not good, and I won't use them again. Who knows, I may do some personalizing! In the meantime I will name her Jane Fonda

It would probably be fairly easy to replace the turnlock yourself.

As required in the instructions on Page One of this thread and at the top of every page, please also be sure to include the actual seller ID, " startofthesidewalk ". If the bag is actually in your hands, please also include the measurements if they're not in the listing

It's genuine, looks like a Camera Bag, style 9760 from around 1987. I don't have any idea where the seller came up with the name "Taylor" but that's not correct.

I'm not familiar with the first one, more opinions are needed.

The second one is genuine and as the tag says is a Nylon (Gallery?) Double Pocket Wristlet from roughly 12-15 years ago.
