I believe that there should be a small white label with two rows of letters and numbers (production info) inside one of the pockets. The seller may need to use something to prop the pocket open in order to photograph it.

So far, I don't see any red flags but I'd like to see a picture of the white label.
This is the picture I received from the seller, what is your view?

It looks fine!

Thank you for your opinion. I was surprised that there is no white tag inside. It is ok in these special editions? thanks

I don't see any problems with it but I confess to not having seen it in person.

It doesn't have problems that other fakes of similar styles have had.

I think you did fine. Other opinions are welcome.

None of the listings have enough pictures or the right pictures needed for authentications, especially when they're all so well-faked.

Regarding the second listing from you-re-looking-good, of the 7 pictures, 6 are stolen from Coach or other sites. Only 1 picture isn't a stock image! And her description is plagiarized also from Nordstrom and/or possibly Coach. If a seller is too lazy to do the work involved to take her own pictures and write her own descriptions, she doesn't deserve your hard-earned money.
Yeah, I was so concerned, my gut told me to skip all, I actually got one from coachoutlet, for a very good deal, only bad thing is ****** was only 2% : P, thank you guys for all the hard work you do <3

Hello, all!

I was recently gifted this City Bag by a friend who knows I love vintage Coach bags. It was a lovely thought and gift and I would never tell her this, but I have some doubts as to whether or not it's an authentic piece, and I'd just like to be sure before I go through the rehab process. The leather has an odd feel to it, and the back of the turnlock is not like any of my other bags. Additionally, I can see a pale stripe of not dyed (?) leather along some of the edges of the interior. It just seems a little off. Could someone please let me know what they think?

Name: City Bag (I can't date it)
Color: The photos make it look kind of tan, but it's actually a weird putty-like shade.
Sizing: Approximately 11" wide, 8" tall, 3" deep. I'm terrible at strap drop measurements, but I think it's about 19 inch".

Thank you so much for any advice you might be able to offer.

It's authentic.

The female part of the turnlock looks like it may have been removed and/or replaced and wasn't put on straight.

I don't see any problems but I've never seen the actual item and was hoping someone else may have seen it.

I picked up 4 bags at an antique shop today - could you check them out when time allows please? Hoping they are ok to start rehabbing but I got them super cheap so if not, I won’t spend the time on them. I have a ruler in pics for size reference. If I forgot anything please let me know. Having trouble uploading multiple photos so I will attach pics of first bag here and do the next 3 separate. Hope that’s OK. Thanks so much!
