Mine is also not removable. I think my necklace is ok. It looks just like yours and I see yours is also shinier than the turtle's chain. The turtle's chain has a satin matte finish and the seahorse one has a shiny finish.

I think yours is okay too. I really wish the chain was removable as I originally bought it to use a purse charm. I've never worn it.

Hi Authenticators! Kindly authenticate this purse, thank you!

Comments: should I be concerned about zipper corrosion On inside leather?

The Legacy Zip is genuine, from 1999.

I'm not a rehab expert so I suggest that you wait for @whateve to take a look at the corrosion and then check out the Rehab and Rescue thread in the Coach Clubhouse sub-forum at the main Coach forum. It looks like verdigris, which is a common problem on older brass or brass-coated items and is often found on vintage Coaches. It will definitely have to be removed from the metal and the leather. There are probably dozens if not hundreds of posts on the subject in that forum.

Comments: Wondered at first if this might be faded black, but could be my screen. Definitely looks lighter compared to the black Court they have listed.

1- genuine, from 2004. The strap has had 3 extra holes added. I can't help you with the color because many of the classic styles made in 2004 and 2005 were made specially for the Factory outlets (note the outlet stamp on the creed, these styles went directly to the Factory stores) and the color names were never published on the website or in the catalogs. At the time it seemed that Coach was planning on phasing out the classic styles and made at least half a dozen classic styles in unusual colors that often hadn't been used before that went straight to the outlets. Unless someone actually still has the price tag from the bag there's usually no way to know what the color names were. This one does look more like Black in several of the photos, so it might NOT be the Flannel Grey that you're hoping for. There's been an off and on discussion at the Vintage Chat sub-forum for a long time about those colors. They're mostly from several Chinese plants, this might be the first one I've seen from Costa Rica. Denim Blue and Aubergine are a few color names that we've found so far.

2- Genuine. It's almost impossible to tell the Station Bag's color just from the photo, there's a lot of blue from the area or room the bag was photographed in that's reflecting off the bag and doing strange things to the color. But the year code is for 1995 and taupe WAS a 1995 color. It definitely wouldn't be putty, the actual color in natural light and without the blue reflections would be a bit darker than the photos. Taupe IS listed as a 1995 color in the 1995 Fall-Holiday catalog.

3- genuine, from 1998

Thank you so much Hyacinth, and for the detailed notes! Glad to have some more direction in looking for unusual colors. Fingers crossed that Willis will be some sort of grey, but otherwise live and learn :) thanks again!

Could you kindly have a look at this bag for me, please? Is it authentic, and if so, from where and what year was it from? I (and others) have been offered a special price. Thank you so much!s-l1600-1.jpgs-l1600-2.jpgs-l1600-3.jpgs-l1600.jpg

Lovely People...I was gifted this Swagger 27 (secondhand), a few years ago. Can you provide insight into authenticity for me please? Many thanks in advance x The brown box is my own. The dustbag came with the bag. Thank you x
Can anyone help me please? Thank you
Boy, you are very patient! I apologize for missing your post but I think it may have been missed or skipped because your pictures were missing one of the images we need for authentication.

This is from the first post at the top of each page of the "authenticate this Coach" thread:
"If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that."

It's authentic. The wording is correct for the style of bag. I have the smaller version of this bag. I believe the color is called aqua. As indicated on the creed, it was made in Costa Rica in 1996.
