Sorry, it's fake. There WAS an "H" plant but it was closed early in 1998. Any H plant codes after January 1998 (A8H- serial prefixes) are likely to be fake. The K3H- serial font is also much too large. That prefix shows up in a LOT of fakes and is ALWAYS fake, no exceptions..

For future reference, please read the Salearea Coach Guides posted here if you haven't already. Also in the same thread are Parts 1 and 2 of the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers List, which mentions the K3H- fake numbers as well as many others. Please be sure to read the entire thread since it also incluces recent updates and corrections to both Guides. It's easy to find and is Pinned to the top of every index page in the Coach Shopping forum.

Thank you. Each fake becomes an opportunity to learn more.

I'm brand new here. Can someone please help with accurate details surrounding this gorgeous bag I found during a thrift? I know its authentic, but I cannot find out when it was made and the actual style name. It's so nice! I'm excited about getting it cleaned up. View attachment 4687024 View attachment 4687025
That's an excellent find; the original Courier Pouch is a highly sought-after style!

The creed stamped on the inside pocket says it was Made in New York City (the original Coach factory on 34th Street in Manhattan).

Here's a catalog page showing the "Large Courrier [probably a typo] Pouch", style #8920. There was a slightly smaller size too, but I don't have the dimensions on that one.

So I'm a little embarrassed... I did some stress bidding the other night (and yes there was wine involved...) and somehow wound up with this bag today. Obviously it's from 95 if it's not fake (not the seller's 1992 if I am understanding how to read serial numbers) but I did a bit of research and read Tafts are often counterfeit. :hrmm: Can someone take a look before I pay? Thanks!

OMG, you found a Courier at thrift store! And in amazing condition. I always keep an eye on eBay for a vintage Coach Courier, but the price is always too high for me. Wish I will have the luck you got. Congratulations!

Authentic demi turnlock. Legacy wasn't part of the name as far as I know.
