Creed is No J4D 1443

Says Coach Leatherworks Est 1941 on front.

Need to know if real or not before I list it on ebay for sale.

Please read post #1 in this thread for the information we need you to supply.

And we ALWAYS need photos but in this case I can make an exception. If you've copied the serial number correctly, the bag is FAKE. Style 1443 is one of the most widely faked styles on record, and the year code stands for 1994 - that style 1443 wan't even made until ten years after that, and that style would never have had a D plant code either.

You can't sell it or trade it ANYWHERE. And if you bought it reecently you should demand a full refund. If you follow the instructions in post One we might be able to help you get a refund if the purchase is recent enough,
Did you also post a question on the ebay boards in the answer center? Did you buy it from ebay?

Happy New Year Ladies...fellow tPF members. This bag is in my possession. I'm pretty sure it's authentic. Whateve mentioned it a couple of weeks earlier in the Chat/Finds/Deals thread.

Sonoma Pocket Purse
131382463206
seller: 3635carrie
http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Navy-...U4hkarc8cK%2BZow3sOO4%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

The creed patch is uber faint and difficult to read. I used light blue, then white eye shadow, a magnifying glass and am only certain of the last four numbers 4924 The first three may be F2M or 57M

With a magnifying glass I was able to read the actual description...

This is a Coach bag. It was
handcrafted in Costa Rica
of natural full grain cowhide
that is water resistant and
exceptionally durable. Gentle
tumbling provides a distinctive
texture with natural grain
variations.

Please authenticate. Thank you.

I've added a few pictures of my own.

The serial number looks like either E or F7m-4924 and it's a genuine Sonoma Pocket Zip

Thank you so much Hyacinth. I appreciate your expertise and time you devote to this forum. Happy New Year.

I have no intention of buying this, so you can skip over it if you don't know offhand.

I'm pretty skeptical of anyone saying they have a one of a kind Coach item, and it's kind of cute if the price were much, much lower. I've just never seen any Coach key chains like it.

The picture is awful but I think it's authentic.

But "OOAK" it's not. Even limited edition items aren't "one of a kind."

The One Of A Kind claim is BS.

The only items I'd consider OOAK are maybe a few Sample bags, and those can be impossible to authenticate since there's usually no record of them anywhere, and we've seen a LOT of apparent fakes being sold as "samples". If any OOAK items were ever made for individual employees or executives it's really unlikely that there would have been any documentation of it available publicly. So when someone claims something is OOAK, the safest thing to do is hit the Back button.

I HAVE seen the Turtle before, in fact I saw it in the FP store when it was released, in 2008 I think. There were plenty of them on the spinner and I didn't even like it very much. Style 92311, Crystal Turtle Keyfob:
