It is a Lightweights so they are harder to rehab. They tend to fade. I used a combination of conditioner and Leather Refinisher on mine as it had a big grease spot I couldn't get rid of.

Thanks for the info. I dunked a camel Whitney, and she came out about 2 shades lighter. Now you have solved that mystery! I am planning on getting some leather therapy for cleaning. Experiments, experiments!

Item: VTG Coach USA Crossbody messenger bleeker hobo bag

Comment: just confirming it is fake before I report

The current listing by seller intique for a "Vtg Coach USA Crossbody Messenger Bleeker Hobo Bag Purse Duffle Sac Handbag" has been removed but the previous listings are still available, so here are a few photos for everyone's viewing pleasure.

The creed looks like it was removed, probably because it had a Made In Korea stamp which is where these LOVELY fake zipper pulls and too-long zipper that Whateve pointed out in Post # 404 all seem to come from, so the seller or maybe a previous owner obviously knew the bag was Qwap. (Needless to say, DON'T buy from INTIQUE )

I wonder if someone removed the fake creed, then donated the bag. They forgot to remove all the fake hardware.

Go ahead and report! Very creative zipper pulls! What's with that zipper sticking out?

Here's another reason not to buy from intique. In addition to trying to unload that other previously removed fake (several times), intique also sold this one for $85. In case it's removed, I'll post a picture of the creed.

Happy New Year Ladies...fellow tPF members. This bag is in my possession. I'm pretty sure it's authentic. Whateve mentioned it a couple of weeks earlier in the Chat/Finds/Deals thread.

The creed patch is uber faint and difficult to read. I used light blue, then white eye shadow, a magnifying glass and am only certain of the last four numbers 4924 The first three may be F2M or 57M

With a magnifying glass I was able to read the actual description...

This is a Coach bag. It was
handcrafted in Costa Rica
of natural full grain cowhide
that is water resistant and
exceptionally durable. Gentle
tumbling provides a distinctive
texture with natural grain
variations.

Please authenticate. Thank you.

I've added a few pictures of my own.
