Good morning! I am not having much luck finding any matching creed detail on this Coach Leather Garment Bag. Can you please assist? Thank you!

I can't name the style but the garment bag is authentic.

I'm not sure what you mean by being unable to find matching creed detail (unless you mean the exact style number) but the font, creed, stamping are all correct for the 1998 S plant. And although Coach didn't intentionally use I as a month code, it happened occasionally, especially with new foreign plants, in this case, in China.

After much detailed discussion (Dec. 25-26) surrounding the F plant, I came across this listing. It's not from the years of the other bags we discussed, it has a very different font from the others and it's on a Taft, another highly and well-faked style.

• Authenticators are not required to answer every request and it is their right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format.

I don't have the slightest idea what the bag being sold is supposed to be since most of the photos are of the cosmetic case and lining, and the creed stamp and serial number of the larger bag is illegible and the available photos don't show enough details. The description describes the bag as man-made material which would be odd for a Limited Edition Coach, the "limited Edition" extra sewn on patch isn't anything I've ever seen in a Coach before, and the serial number which Entrupy is calling a "date code H071312264" would never have been used in any genuine Coach, the number is invalid and doesn't have any actual production codes. It looks like the creed mentions something about "executive creative director" but I can't read the rest. If it's actually a Limited Edition made as a vanity project for a Coach executive there's probably no way to prove it unless we can find another one with dependable provenance.

The H0 part of the "date code" may possibly be the "No" abbreviation that all genuine Coach serial numbers start with but the rest of the numbers make no sense at all. If the first digit is actually a H that's an even bigger problem.

I have finally received this bag so I have a better picture of Creed Tag and think this may be authentic but wondered if you would mind looking at the pictures and giving an opinion. It looks like a limited edition Reed Krakoff 10th anniversary as creative director which I'm assuming is why there was 10 made?
