I bought this at the thrift store yesterday thinking it was real but now I'm not so sure as I washed it and a lot of the black edging paint on the trim and creed has come off. Other than that it's in excellent condition with no wear to the fabric at all. Any advice to whether or not it's real would be appreciated! Thanks!
It looks good.

ETA: hot water will melt the edging.

Hi everyone, new here and looking for confirmation this bag is real before purchasing.

Item: Coach Willis Station Crossbody
Listing number: The seller gave me E4C-9927 as the creed number
Seller: angelbeardb
Link: https://posh.mk/zxTFADubR2

The creed picture isn't clear enough, actually none of the pictures are very clear. I don't feel comfortable with it.
Not being a fan of Poshmark and refusing to encourage others to shop there, I was trying to sit on my hands. This isn't to say that there aren't honest buyers and sellers there, but the dishonest ones combined with Poshmark's refusal to respond to reports and their dreadful "authentication team," I feel it's too dangerous a site to promote.

With that said, now that @whateve commented on her discomfort with
angelbeardb's Willis, I will post what else I found and why I would avoid this "Posh Ambassador."

angelbeardb sold this fake Coach:
https://poshmark.com/listing/Vtg-Coach-Bleecker-Leather-Satchel-9303-5c76f9619519967fdc293ca3

And she sold this fake Dooney:
https://poshmark.com/listing/Vint-Dooney-Bourke-All-Weather-Leather-Satchel-5c3e132fde6f6296de8fbd6d

How can you trust a seller who (at best) mixes and (at worst) may do it knowingly?

JMHO.

Seller: tsue628

Comments: I was wondering if this Court bag was authentic.
(I know Poshmark does a terrible job policing fakes and is not recommended by most of the Coach authenticators. But I've been searching on eBay for a Court bag in British Tan in excellent condition (for a gift) for the last 2 months with no luck.) Thanks for any help!

Genuine, made in 1997

In the questions section the seller claims the serial number is E4C-9927. However, even though the number isn't clear, that's NOT the correct serial number font for any bag made in the C plant in May 1994, and it's NOT the correct creed wording and formatting for that month, year and plant either. ALL C plant creeds from 1994 would have said "Made in the United States" on a separate line at the bottom of the creed and had the old ",,, scars, scratches..." creed wording.

I agree with BeenBurned, Poshmark seller angelbeardb should be AVOIDED.

Comments: 2 more Poshmark finds. (I know, I know, lol) Can someone verify if either of these are authentic? Thanks so much for your help. View attachment 4628245 View attachment 4628246 View attachment 4628247 View attachment 4628248

The first one, the "Patricia's Legacy", is FAKE. The second one looks ok.

ETA - I enlarged and turned the creed pic you asked about in your previous post about the Willis, see my addition. It's definitely fake.
