That style 9063 has been faked a lot, and I believe this is one of the fakes.

My biggest concerns are the serial number and creed stamp. The fonts used in the serial don't match any of the genuine bags made in that same plant and year within a few months of the month shown in the serial number codes. But the biggest problem is the creed stamp. The quality of the lettering, especially the Coach name at the top of the creed, is REALLY bad. Coach would never allow a stamp with those problems to be used in their plants. Some of the letters aren't even close in shape and detail to Coach's trademarked logo, the 2 Cs don't even look like each other and the serifs at the ends of the tops of the Cs are badly shaped or completely missing and it's not just from wear and tear. Some of the creed words use very wide rounded letters and then in other words like "states" they look like they've been squeezed in a vise. Several of the numbers in the serial number actually have breaks or gaps in them, and the quality of the lettering in general is so bad that it looks like someone made the stamp in their garage. The creed stamping is almost unreadable.

I don't know if the photo will enlarge properly but I'll try. If not I'll post an enlarged photo in a little while:

Click on the plus sign in the circle to enlarge.

There are probably other production details that would also raise red flags, but Coach is usually fanatical about their creeds and stampings and this one just doesn't meet their standards.

ETA - Here's a stamping in a genuine bag made almost exactly a year before the date code in the presumed fake bag and made in the same plant for comparison:

MORE OPINIONS ARE WELCOME.
Thank you so much. Much appreciated. I don’t mind using this for personal use so it works out.

Please include the seller's name in your request. Also search the thread to see if the bag in question has already been authenticated. Having the seller's name in the request helps in this search. This bag was authenticated in this thread a few days ago.
LOL! I knew the seller's ID was familiar but didn't find any posts but found my own records.

In her defense, the question was asked regarding rehabbing here: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/coach-rehab-and-rescue-club.833400/page-1631#post-33516843 and she probably didn't realize that your comment would have specified if the bag hadn't been made by Coach if that were the case.

Hello everyone! I'm new here, but have recently become addicted to older Coach bags. I'm currently on the hunt for a Black/Nickel Patricia but am having trouble finding one in good condition, except for a few on poshmark with serial numbers F13-9951. Is there a serial number guide someone can point me to to help me look up this information? Or, I've provided a link for one of the listings, can someone please take a look at it for me? I searched the forums but couldn't find this exact bag. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

There are two sections on Creeds and on Serial Numbers in the Salearea Coach Guides, originally written and posted at Ebay about 9 years ago and now updated and posted here at tPF. That thread also includes Daria48's excellent Fake Coach Serial Numbers List, which lists some but by no means all of the most commonly used fake Coach numbers. The Coach Shopping Forum index lists the combined guides under "Salearea Guides" and the link is Pinned to the top of every thread in this forum with an Index list:

Pat's Legacy bags, in fact most "classic' Coach bags, are HIGHLY faked so please always have them authenticated here before buying, and don't trust the ones in unusual colors like Bubble Gum Pink. And also please never forget that just because a serial number matches the style number of the bag, that doesn't and CAN'T prove it's genuine.

The one in your photos is genuine and made in China in 2001 so it's not quite Vintage yet.

Thank you so much for your quick reply!! I'll check the link, too, thank you. Admittedly, I'm pretty new to this and have never purchased pre owned, but the older leather bags are just so gorgeous and classy. But I was unsure if the F13 was fake. I'm still searching, but I will definitely drop by here before making a purchase. Thanks again.
