Item: Coach Willis in British Tan
Seller: ebay (station_85)
Listing: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/372806741191
Here is a picture of the creed which I asked for since it was not in the listing.

I strongly suggest that you search the forums here at tPF for that seller's name, and also read their Feedback history on Ebay or better yet, Toolhaus.org.

There are 13 PAGES of posts referring to that seller at tPF:
https://forum.purseblog.com/search/9468398/?q=station_85&t=post&o=date

Here is a list of their most recent Feedbacks as compiled by Toolhaus.org, one VERY big problem is that they sell bags that reek of cigarette smoke WITHOUT DISCLOSING THAT IN THE LISTING. And they've been doing that for well over a decade. REED THE FEEDBACKS, and please note that the list at Toolhaus.org only covers the last 5 years of their history due to space and time limitations, their actual history goes back a lot longer. The posts here at tPF go back 10 years:
http://toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=station_85&Dirn=Received+by

Not only have they been in business long enough to know that a photo of the creed and serial number is critical if they want to try and offer some proof that their Coach items are genuine, but the company owner was told that exact same thing years ago by a tFP member. But we still see listings from them that are missing those photos, not to mention a 15 year-long history of many buyers commenting on their purchases' poor condition when received. I was one of those unhappy buyers.

I personally will NOT authenticate their listings because to me selling a bag that is Significantly Not As Described and doing it hundreds if not thousands of times is almost as bad as knowingly selling a fake. I DO NOT recommend that seller. Maybe another one of the authenticators would be willing to look at it.

I did check her reviews and I thought it was strange that there wasn't a creed because most people will put a picture of the creed. I appreciate your feedback and will not purchase. How do I search the forum? I'm relatively new to PurseForum.

Thank you so very much whateve for taking the time to do this. Definitely a lot of more differences than just having to replace a damaged chain or ring.
I do not anticipate any problem getting my refund from Ebay, but if needed may I have your permission to use your pictures for comparison?
The differences are dramatic.

Thank you @whateve!

Not only does station_85 have hundreds of negs for SNAD and fakes as well as pages of posts here, this recent post from just 4 months ago shows that she still doesn't get it! In June, she had a fake removed and almost immediately relisted it!

It's one thing to make mistakes but repeating the same mistakes over the next decade isn't an indication of a good seller, IMO.

As stated by George Santana in 1905 and similarly repeated by Winston Churchill in 1948:
"Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Those who do not remember their past are condemned to repeat their mistakes. Those who do not read history are doomed to repeat it. Those who fail to learn from the mistakes of their predecessors are destined to repeat them."

At the top of almost every page right under the PurseForum logo is a string of links, one of the first one is ":search forums".When you click on that a search page comes up. The simplest way to do it until you get comfortable with the forum Search is to remember that you don't have to select something from every section, you can search for a seller name just by entering their name or selling ID by selecting:

"search sellers and posts" and fill in the seller's name or whatever other information you're trying to find such as a style name or number, the name of a website or store, or things from the non-accessory forums such as tv shows, celebrity names, etc. IMPORTANT - when searching for a specific Coach style by a serial number, DON'T include the full serial number. Just use the 2nd half of the number for bags from 1994 or newer. There are some exceptions such as searching for a suspected fake number like NT-4903. You can even try searching for potential fake serial prefixes such as "K3H".

"posts by member" - not necessary unless you want to narrow the responses down to a certain tPF member

"Newer than" and "minimum number of replies" can usually be skipped

In the 2 dropdown boxes"
"thread prefixes" can be skipped
"Search in Forums" select where you want to search and remember that there are TWO designer forums, "premier designers" for the highline brands and "contempory designers" for less expensive brands like Coach, Michael Kors, etc

"search child forums as well" should be checked

"Order by" Most Recent is probably the best choice

"display results as threads" I just leave that unchecked.

Once you try a few different examples, it will be easier. If the results seem strange or you don't get any results, just post to the Authenticate This Coach thread and maybe we can find something useable.

Hope this helps. Please ask for clarification if you need it.

Listing: 133201038582
Seller: stevan01
Comments: I saw a very cute Duffle Sac charm on a vintage Coach and decided to search for some. I got a brand new in the box Station Bag, later I found the Duffle Sac, and finally I found a seller that had the last two, so I bought them. Now that I have them all together, I see the difference on the last two, as the rings are smaller and the chains longer. I am not sure if these are real, or at the time were also faked, I normally do not pay attention to charms that much.

I have added comments now that we've seen pictures of what you received and compared them to those in the listings.

Since you haven't heard back from the seller, I think it's time to open a SNAD dispute. You can state that the items you received are not as shown in the listings. You aren't questioning authenticity but there's no doubt that the pictures in the listing are not the items you received.

Both listings (the daypack and the waverly bag) use stolen pictures, pictures that show differences from what the items are supposed to look like and different from the pictures shown in the listings. Most notable are the curly links (vs. thicker and rounder ones shown) and the extra ring (between the charm and the chain) on the ones you received but not on the stolen pictures.

If you open the legitimate SNAD case, the seller will be required to respond and if he denies the return, you can escalate. Ebay WILL find in your favor, either sending return shipping labels at the seller's expense or just issuing the refund without requiring you to return them.

In your description of the complaint, you can show whateve's comps and point out the differences. You can also point out that the pictures in the listing were stolen from other seller(s), and if necessary, include links to the other seller's listing.

ETA: Attention buyers: Avoid stevan01. You will NOT receive what is shown in listings.

You didn't mention what site the bag was purchased from, but I was able to find the seller on Ebay. Is that where you bought it? And you said you bought it in a lot with some other bags, but the listing was cancelled?

I found a listing for 4 black Coach bags, is this the one you bought?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coach-Black-Leather-Shoulder-Bags-For-Sale-/254388320191?hash=item3b3ab9b7bf:g:BfQAAOSwqApdo6En&nma=true&si=IfzuyM7nrl8laq3%2BOVr6An0ZXCA%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
Vintage Coach Black Leather Shoulder Bags For Sale
but I don't see any indication that it was cancelled, it's just shown as Completed. And if that's the one, why would you buy 4 bags with no photos at all of the insides or creeds and serial numbers, especially if you paid anywhere near the asking price shown in the listing?:If you've recently started buying on Ebay, you may be making some serious (and expensive!) rookie mistakes.

One other BIG problem other than the lack of any real photos is the fact that the description in the listing isn't even for the bags in the photos. Did you read it? It describes a single small fabric Coach bag made in China. Then undernneath that description they added "Vintage Coach Black Leather Shoulder Bags For Sale. Condition is Pre-owned. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. One Court One 9085 One Stewardess and one Willis station all black" But describing the condition as "pre-owned" doesn't mean that you should expect an obviously re-dyed bag! And it's a really BAD dye job too, the original tan color is already showing through in places.

Technically you could probably file a SNAD claim since the are Significantly Not As Described, but you might get stuck for the return postage. And if one of the bags has been re-dyed that's another reason to insist that Ebay make the seller take them back. I don't care if it's one of those "Ebay for Charity" auctions, the sellers IMO gave NO actual description of the items or disclosed any issues with the bags.

As for the dye, I certainly would return it if it wasn't disclosed in the listing or the photos. I would return all four and insist on a full refund including the seller paying for return shipping.

Maybe BeenBurned or another of our members that know how to effectively handle Ebay claims and problems can give you more advice. My own advice would be to NEVER bid on any highly faked brand, Coach or otherwide, without a full set of photos that at least allow an authenticator to say if the bag's real or not. And for heaven's sake. READ THE SELLER"S FEEDBACK! They have five recent Negatives and for the same kind of problem you're having:

Apparently the seller doesn't even offer returns so your only option is to file a claim with Ebay. Wait for instructions from the experts here before doing that, and DON'T accept any kind of offer from the seller that leaves you stuck with only a partial refund or the shipping charges. Handle is as a claim with Ebay or Paypal if that's how you paid, wait for our advice. You made some expensive mistakes and got ripped off but I hope we can help you get your money back. Please, don't EVER do this again.

And no one should consider buying ANYTHING from Ebay seller " corgidogstephen "

ETA - This is the same Stewardess that was shown as SOLD here and even has photos of the inside showing the obvious bad dye job. No wonder they closed that listing and added the bag to a "lot" and didn't show any of those photos in the new listing. That to me says "deceptive":
