Genuine. I don't know the exact name but it should be something like what you posted, Poppy Tartan Plaid Glitter or GlamTote, made in 2010

Hi @Hyacinth thank you as always for the detailed reply.

I'll post the creeds of all the bags later for authentification.

just some short details on how this happened
-yes bought from ebay.

-I bought the bags individually. But since I live in Singapore, each of the bags were on ebay global shipping which is about 33usd per bag. so the seller helped in relisting all 4 bags in one listing.

-I did look at the creeds and did my best with the research. I probably ddnt post them here because I found this forum right at the same time I bought the bags. Mainly I really loved that the bags look well maintained. Next time I will ask for more photos before committing.

It's a shame bec the bag really is fine. I JUST HATE that it was dyed. (it isn't fake correct?)

Hi authenticators.

any help on this bag would be appreciated.

item: stewardess bag
seller: corgidogstephen
link: there isnt any link anymore (long story short to get all the individual bags in one listing, the original listings were cancelled

comments:
-this was advertised as black but why is it that the bag's suede inside isnt black?
-this was also advertised as EUC.
-I am bothered by the "spray line"

any advise on this would be helpful. should I return the bag esp if its dyed?

You didn't mention what site the bag was purchased from, but I was able to find the seller on Ebay. Is that where you bought it? And you said you bought it in a lot with some other bags, but the listing was cancelled?

I found a listing for 4 black Coach bags, is this the one you bought?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coach-Black-Leather-Shoulder-Bags-For-Sale-/254388320191?hash=item3b3ab9b7bf:g:BfQAAOSwqApdo6En&nma=true&si=IfzuyM7nrl8laq3%2BOVr6An0ZXCA%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
Vintage Coach Black Leather Shoulder Bags For Sale
but I don't see any indication that it was cancelled, it's just shown as Completed. And if that's the one, why would you buy 4 bags with no photos at all of the insides or creeds and serial numbers, especially if you paid anywhere near the asking price shown in the listing?:If you've recently started buying on Ebay, you may be making some serious (and expensive!) rookie mistakes.

One other BIG problem other than the lack of any real photos is the fact that the description in the listing isn't even for the bags in the photos. Did you read it? It describes a single small fabric Coach bag made in China. Then undernneath that description they added "Vintage Coach Black Leather Shoulder Bags For Sale. Condition is Pre-owned. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. One Court One 9085 One Stewardess and one Willis station all black" But describing the condition as "pre-owned" doesn't mean that you should expect an obviously re-dyed bag! And it's a really BAD dye job too, the original tan color is already showing through in places.

Technically you could probably file a SNAD claim since the are Significantly Not As Described, but you might get stuck for the return postage. And if one of the bags has been re-dyed that's another reason to insist that Ebay make the seller take them back. I don't care if it's one of those "Ebay for Charity" auctions, the sellers IMO gave NO actual description of the items or disclosed any issues with the bags.

As for the dye, I certainly would return it if it wasn't disclosed in the listing or the photos. I would return all four and insist on a full refund including the seller paying for return shipping.

Maybe BeenBurned or another of our members that know how to effectively handle Ebay claims and problems can give you more advice. My own advice would be to NEVER bid on any highly faked brand, Coach or otherwide, without a full set of photos that at least allow an authenticator to say if the bag's real or not. And for heaven's sake. READ THE SELLER"S FEEDBACK! They have five recent Negatives and for the same kind of problem you're having:

Apparently the seller doesn't even offer returns so your only option is to file a claim with Ebay. Wait for instructions from the experts here before doing that, and DON'T accept any kind of offer from the seller that leaves you stuck with only a partial refund or the shipping charges. Handle is as a claim with Ebay or Paypal if that's how you paid, wait for our advice. You made some expensive mistakes and got ripped off but I hope we can help you get your money back. Please, don't EVER do this again.

And no one should consider buying ANYTHING from Ebay seller " corgidogstephen "

ETA - This is the same Stewardess that was shown as SOLD here and even has photos of the inside showing the obvious bad dye job. No wonder they closed that listing and added the bag to a "lot" and didn't show any of those photos in the new listing. That to me says "deceptive":

Ugh! I saw your authentication request very late (early in the morning!) before going to bed and intended to reply in the morning, adding my own editorial comments on the seller, corgidogstephen.

I'm with @Hyacinth on this one, more because I hate to give an unethical seller business. Although the bag IS authentic, that crappy and undisclosed dye job is definitely grounds for SNAD and with ebay's often lopsided ways of favoring the buyers, this is one case where it's warranted.

With that said, I don't know how SNAD and return shipping works with Global shipping. With the GSP (global shipping program), US sellers ship to Kentucky after which the items are forwarded to the international buyers.

The problem is that I am not sure how SNAD works with GSP. @whateve, do you know?

Before doing anything further, please wait for authentications on the other 3 bags in the lot.

If it turns out they're authentic and you're happy with them, maybe you can negotiate a 25% refund from the seller for the one bad one. That might be cheaper for the seller so corgidogstephen may be willing to go along with it.

And as I mentioned in the first paragraph, I have opinions on the seller.

Good Morning Authentication Goddesses,
I found this on Mercari (new listing). I was trying to cross reference the SaleArea guides and it seems legit, but would love your input.
Thank you!

DO NOT PURCHASE!
5130 is style number for station bag. The style number for this bag should be 9955.
Many other things are wrong. I got burned buying a fake of this style without authenticating here first and it was a nightmare getting my money back. This is a highly faked style!

That is why i asked! It was quite cheap too for what it was so, that threw up some flags and I knew the style number didn't match, but I had that happen on a bag I was watching on Ebay.
Thanks for the heads up! :)

I have to add that it's a very close creed for the 1994 C plant! Scary close.

Dear Authenticators,
I'm sorry to pester again, but could I please ask for help on this one? It's at a local shop, and I would both like to know what it actually is (or is trying to be), and am trying to decide if I want to go back for it.

It is about the same size as a City bag, or perhaps a hair larger? I'm sorry, I didn't have a ruler with me at the time, but I did get photos. It has a slip pocket in back, zippered pouch above creed, and an outer pouch on the front that is "partially divided" by a "partial divider" (visible in third pic). Strap is adjustable via side buckles. Buckles had no writing on (which I know is standard, so I'm not worried about that, but did want to mention it even though I took a pic of one buckle.) I admit I'm not familiar with this style. What the heck is it?? (I will extend pics into a second post immediately following.) Thank you for any help!

(Apologies ... i attached one creed pic as thumbnail and the other as full image. oops)

Apologize *AGAIN* ... the partial divider is visible in *third* pic ... just corrected that in paragraph above. Pics and I never work well together.

few more pics

(And another apology ... I do realize I need better creed pics, which I would do if I decided to purchase.)

(editing once more to add ... Is this a Rambler? I've honestly never paid attention to the larger bags, so would never have even noticed. Again, I do apologize for the creed pics, but **if** there are no other obvious red flags, I might just go back and get a better creed pic. It's only four miles from my house.)

Thank you @BeenBurned for taking the time to write this as well.

How I feel about the bags
-It's sad to admit but I really thought the bags were well cared for. hence the pricing that was set.

-I checked back on all descriptions of the bags and all it said was "condition is preowned". I dont expext the bags to be perfect but it really would have been best if these flaws were declared. see photos below.

-I am debating whether to ask for a flat 50% partial refund of the total I paid for 3 flawed bags OR ask for a full refund. However Im afraid if I ask for a full refund I might still shoulder the cost of returning the goods. Which means Im the one who will be losing money for nothing.

Here are the photos for the other 3 bags

item: duffle 9085
seller: corgidogstephen
comments:
-the strap and the opening of the bag, to use @houseof999 's words:like it has been dragged throigh concrete.
-I think with heavy use, the strap could snap because it is thin on some points.

item: station bag
seller:corgidogstephen
comments:
-there's a pinky nail sized hole at the side of the bag.
-even if I get this repaired, it wont be a neat restitch because of where the tear is.

comments:
-this is the only "acceptable" bag of the bunch. theres a small hole in the piping, sadly in front of the bag.
-this I think I can live with.
-apologies the creed is slightly faded. couldnt get a decent shot of it

AGAIN- thabk you so much for being so patient and taking the time to explain things.

If the flaws weren't too significant I generally love the condition of the bags. Im just worried about the duffle strap and that paint job transferring on my clothes.

THANK YOU AGAIN Authenticators. and yes I will wait before I message the seller.

OMG! I can't believe those issues weren't disclosed! (This isn't a newbie seller and with the number of negs, I'd expect the seller to be more transparent.)

All are authentic (in this case) so if you want to keep and work on them, it would probably be worth it for corgidogstephen to be willing to negotiate a settlement. (Keep in mind that even if he gets them back, future buyers will likely have the same complaints if the issues aren't disclosed.) So to have a buyer willing to accept the bags is a plus for the seller.

I don't do rehab but I'd be very surprised if that station bag can be acceptably repaired! The others might be fixable as I've seen the rehabbers here work magic.

But if the seller isn't willing to work with you, this is absolutely a SNAD-worthy case and you should be made whole! And by "whole," I don't think the seller should cost you a single penny if you return them!
