have you received the bag already?

If so, please look inside the pocket and see if there's a tag with a serial number and/or style number. Please post a pic.

I'm bothered by the limited edition patch without any numbers on it, the made in US on the creed and a couple of other things.

ETA: The seller, cierraluv2shop was mentioned here:

I agree with BB about the problems with the creed and the Limited patch in the yellow bag.

Please wait for other opinions. I'm not comfortable with it but I suggest you hold off doing anything yet. I'd like to see what others think.

I think the bag you received was fake. If it was a limited edition, there would be a number on the limited edition tag. The most disturbing thing is that I believe the thing that makes this a limited edition is that it was made of genuine alligator and it would say that on the creed. The creed wording and font is an exact copy of a creed Coach used in the 90s. It is possible that an alligator bag would be made in the US (but not likely - even when the alligator came from the US, the bag was usually assembled in another country) but the creed wouldn't look like one from the 90s and would definitely mention alligator. If it was just embossed leather designed to look like alligator, it would have a newer creed with the finest materials wording or no creed at all like most small bags. It would definitely not say "glove-tanned cowhide."

I agree with BB about the problems with the creed and the Limited patch in the yellow bag.

Thank you all for your feedback, I've just contacted the seller so we shall see what she says!

Now that the others have confirmed my suspicions and yours, I'll also comment on cierraluv2shop 's other listings and listing style.

1. She uses "rare" in most of her listings and most of her items are NOT rare.
2. Her subtitle states that “I am an avid collector and some of my purses are store returns or purchased at estate sales, so I cannot guarantee that they have never been exposed to smoke, so please reconsider bidding or buying if you are allergic or sensitive to smoke.” Although she comments on smoke, the fact that they come from estate sales tell me that she's not the original owner and should be having her items authenticated before listing them.
3. Her disclaimer and description mention smoke and although she claims not to smoke, there are multiple feedbacks referring to "reeking of smoke." I think this seller has a smoker in her home. Out of 17 neutral and negs, about 1/2 mention smoke smell.

4. Many of her other feedbacks indicate that cierraluv2shop doesn't accurately disclose the condition of her items.

Item: Coach Leather Drawstring Dark Brown Bag

Listing number: (ended)

Seller: 2014_acqu

Comment: An ebay impulse buy... and then I discovered this forum! The seller has very positive feedback, and accepts returns, so I didn't think there would be anything wrong. But if someone could confirm that that would be great!

Thanks!!!
The bag is authentic. The seller only has a feedback of 30, 2 of the 30 were as a buyer, and 1 was a neutral - "Different than expected. Disappointed. Not worth the money." There are many sellers with a lot more feedback that don't even have one neutral. If you are evaluating a purchase based on the seller's feedback, you need to look at the details.

I have seen a ton of her listings and the feedback alone keeps me away.

I'm curious to know what she does. You can always ' not as described' it :(

1. She uses "rare" in most of her listings and most of her items are NOT rare.

Also, most of her listings say, 'sold out in stores'

I believe she is just using these words to entice the impulse to bid.

And... Her response to people's feedback is awful. Its the same thing over and over calling people, 'impossible to please' or saying they didn't read the listing. She even blamed the smell on it being cleaned!
