Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

This is the green one she sold. Notice that the creed text is different, it has a serial number and wasn't made in the United States. Supposedly, both are the same style and limited editions yet one describes the bag as "glove-tanned cowhide" and the other describes it as "genuine alligator." The creeds are stamped with different fonts and I believe the text on your bag is from an older era.

There was a yellow and a green bag, and the same issue came up with the creeds and the statement about the genuine croc bag being made from "glove-tanned leather".
I am pretty sure the seller of the auction in question cierraluv2shop, bought those two bags from the other seller - it's a strange coincidence donchathink?
There are photos of the bags there from the original listing,
and THAT seller's responses to my queries.

thecollector629, I posted in #2974 and showed identical comps from colleenk415 's listings.

Now we have to add Beaver Falls, PA to the "do not purchase" from list of sellers selling "sample" Coach bags with missing serial number, oddball creeds, inaccurate text on creeds and BS stories about where the bags came from. I believe these bags are scary close fakes.

With the exception of cierraluv2shop, all are from Brooklyn, all sell items that are NWOT with serial numbers, creeds and details that are off and all have been discussed here.

I'm further convinced that colleenk415 and cierraluv2shop are selling the SAME bag. And I don't mean the same style; I MEAN THE SAME IDENTICAL BAG.

Compare the creeds from the green bag listed by colleenk415 to that I posted from cierraluv2shop's listing. The stitching in the corners is identical. These listings are the same bag!!

Sorry, I can't read the creed. I don't see any problems. It is missing the strap.

I have a question for the Coach experts,


If a Creed states "Made from the finest materials and leather" or " Made from the finest materials trimmed with leather" can either of those terms be found on a creed from Coach purse with a all leather exterior?

It could. We'd have to see the purse and the creed know if it was authentic.
