I don't know. It's only in a few catalogs, and it seems like Coach changed the colors every year. Someone who's owned that style may know more about the colors.

I don't know. The taupe color was called granite.

There were tons of Madison colors -
Navy, Beechnut, Black, Citron, Forest, Garnet, Granite, Mandarin, Maple, Ivory, Scarlet, Caramel, Butter, Celadon, Cherry, Fern - but I don't know which colors the Biltmore came in.

Whoa. This sounds like a job... for science! I shall go forth to acquire more samples, in the name of science.

Hello! I picked up this tiny navy bag from Goodwill the other day and was wondering if it's authentic and what the name of the bag might be. I wasn't able to match up the serial number with anything I could find online. The bag is about 9 inches long and 5 inches tall. Thank you for your help!

It appears authentic. You won't be able to match the serial number up with anything since it is a unique serial number that was only used once, and that was for this exact bag. It is a dinky bag #9375 probably from the early to mid 80s.

Thank you so much! I couldn't resist the $9.99 price tag, and now knowing a little bit of her history makes the bag all the more special!

I've seen that before. They are just setting up their ebay page to see how it looks. Unfortunately, they are using a fake bag for their test, but since it isn't really for sale, I don't know if it needs to be reported.
Oooh, Poppy Chan! I'm drooling. This is a wonderful collector's set! It's been listed for awhile. I have two of the keychains. They usually sell for much higher than retail. There is a section in the Reference Library http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-re...d-references-614895.html?highlight=poppy+chan
for these, but I think this is the most complete set I've ever seen.

Test? I hope it self-destructs really soon!

It's fake.

If listed and fake, I report.

And she has another!

I just looked up the policy on test listings because I'd noticed that the seller had the fakes listed in the handbag category.

It's a violation as per the policy. It's supposed to be in the test listing category:

Test listings

A test listing can come in handy if you want to preview your listing before posting it for everyone to see. However, to make sure buyers don't confuse a test listing with an actual listing, you need to meet certain conditions (see below). Standard listing fees apply to test listings.

Restricted
For test listings, follow all of these guidelines:

  • Use the Everything Else > Test Auctions category only.
  • The word "test" must appear in both the listing title and the listing description.
  • Have only 10 test listings at a time.
For test Feedback left or received for a test listing, follow all of these guidelines:

  • Create an account that you can use to leave or receive Feedback for a test listing. Don't use the account you have for buying or selling. If we see an account that breaks this rule, that account may be subject to suspension.
  • Make sure the test Feedback is used for testing purposes only. (If something looks amiss, we may remove test Feedback to avoid problems.)
  • The word "test" has to appear in the listing title and the description.
