Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

My step dad is banned from buying her coach purses. He bought her one for Christmas from eBay, spent $340.00 and guess what? She took it to coach to get a cleaner and see about a replacement zipper... FAKE.:censor::rain:

And she doesn't know who the seller is... I told her I wanted to post it on this forum but after 3 months of back and forth with ebay he finally got his money back and she just wants to put it all behind her :tdown::nogood:

Genuine, I think the style is called a Signature Stripe East-West Duffle, made in 2007

It seems to be a genuine Soft Legacy Demi Hobo. But I'm questioning the seller's measurements. She measures it as 12x 5 3/4 inches but Coach lists it as 8 3/4 inches long measured at the bottom by about 6 inches high. It sounds like the seller is measuring at the top instead of the bottom, and even 12 inches sounds a little optimistic. It's a Demi and demis are by definition small bags.

Here's a copy of Coach's website page although the photo isn't showing but the style number is.

I'm bothered by the limited edition patch without any numbers on it, the made in US on the creed and a couple of other things.

There was a yellow and a green bag, and the same issue came up with the creeds and the statement about the genuine croc bag being made from "glove-tanned leather".
I am pretty sure the seller of the auction in question cierraluv2shop, bought those two bags from the other seller - it's a strange coincidence donchathink?
There are photos of the bags there from the original listing,
and THAT seller's responses to my queries.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for. noticing this....... When I asked for a refund on the yellow bag I bought, the seller replied back saying it was boutght at a sample sale and then basically just repeated what you said in your earlier post, that the earlier seller (colleenk415) told you about Coach using diff./inaccurate creed patches on sample sale items. She even said you're welcome to take it to a coach store to have it authenticated, i'm 200% sure its authentic......putting both these sellers on my ignore list, SMH at all this mess.
