Please follow the following requests:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

• Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

It's fake. M4N-4154 is always fake and is in Part 2 of the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers List posted here.

It's also been asked about a LOT, a search of the Coach forums here has six pages of posts - . More than enough to verify that the "registration number" is always fake. You also need to check the creed for misspellings:

The NASA items are well-faked so we definitely need more information.

I will say (at least at this point) that if you haven't purchased it yet, please don't.

I'm sorry I didn't do my research before posting! I usually at least check the prefix of the registration number before I ask for authentication. Please forgive me?

Also, just out of curiosity, has Coach ever hyphenated any words in their creeds?

Newer styles made in China or during the "China Era" sometimes have words hyphenated and broken up between 2 lines of text, but classic and vintage styles didn't. So
"mark-
ings"
is almost always fake when found in a vintage style like this one. I've seen a genuine bag from 2002 made in the Dominican Republic where "cow-hide" was broken and hyphenated between 2 lines. So it's not a reliable indicator of a fake.


But usually vintage fakes with that mistake will have other more obvious ones. I hope you noticed the "scrtches"? That misspelling is ALWAYS fake, no exceptions. And M4N- prefixes simply don't exist in real life.
