Hi, can someone authenticate please?

Vintage camel colored leather crossbody Coach bag. Compartment on front and back and one inside.
Measures 9” in length
2.25” in width
6” in depth
Adjustable strap

Genuine, might be a 9850 Compartment Bag from the early 1990s. We need to know, as it says in Post One of this thread, if you have the bag in your possession or if it's cirrently listed for sale and what the URL of the selling listing is.

So, need this one authenticated. Sorry, but I had a hard time getting a good pic of the creed, therefore providing it below.

Please post the seller's ID from Poshmark so other members will know who NOT to buy from. Authentic or not, sellers shouldn't be showing a different bag than what the buyer will receive!

You asked about 3 different listings from different sellers here:
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...ost-for-format.889527/page-2700#post-33320472

And 3 more here:

Remember, the first post of the thread says that seller IDs are required. This is one of the reasons!

Genuine, and yes, it's a J9P- prefix and made in Costa Rica.

ETA - Interesting, when you enlarge the creed pic you can see that the creed stamp is actually damaged and the top of the first C in the Coach logo might have actually broken into pieces right before or right when this bag was stamped.

and I have a different J9P- bag in my files that must have been stamped shortly before this one because you can actually see the first C starting to crack in exactly the same spots.

As we've said before, that poor Costa Rica plant always seems to have been last on the list to get new equipment and usually got stuck with everyone else's cast-offs. An interesting few minutes in the history of a Coach plant.

And BTW, I agree with BeenBurned that sellers who don't post photos of the actual bag you're buying are best avoided, especially if they're selling on Poshmark.

Poshmark seller lesliebusenitz
I'd avoid lesliebusenitz on Poshmark.

In this case, you got lucky because you received an authentic bag. It looks like she sold 4 "Willis" bags, all using the same set of pictures. (And on my screen, the creed appears to be from a brown bag. I wonder if any of the pictures are the seller's own!) She must think, a Willis is a Willis and all are identical.

After I realized that what I had received was not the posted item I went to check her feedback and realized she was using the same bag in all her posts. Indeed I did get lucky and will avoid that seller in the future. Thanks for the assistance.
