Dear Authenticators,
I would appreciate your thoughts on this item:

Item: Basic Bag
Listing Number: 75808192
Seller: Shopgoodwill.com

Comment: At first I was thinking this was fake because the final digit was a number and not a letter, but then I reviewed the invaluable SaleArea guide and saw this:
The third or last digit was supposed to be the plant code, originally a letter of the alphabet but with the expansion to Turkey, China and beyond, Coach ran out of letters and began using single numbers.

Now I'm totally unsure!

Hi.

This bag doesn’t have a creed nor does it have a serial number stamped on a tag.

I have attached photos and can add more if needed. If anyone could take a look it would be appreciated.

Please check all the way down in the inside zipped pocket to see of there's a tiny white tag with 2 lines of letters and numbers printed on it. Sometimes it helps to turn the pocket completely inside out because the tag is often very close to the seam. Not all Coaches have them but it always helps if they do.

I'm assuming that you own the bag? Where did you buy it and how long ago? We need that information too if it's a recent purchase, see the instructions in Post number One of this thread. Otherwise it's very hard if not impossible to give a firm authentication since it's details like tags that help us authenticate. A bag just by itself doesn't tell us enough. The Made In tag helps, but that small white tag, if it has one, would be even better. Thanks!

Thanks for responding! Sorry, i didn’t mention it’s my bag and I got it about 6+ years ago if not more from a family member and idk where they got it. I rechecked and couldn’t find a small tag :( I tried to find a bag with a similar style but had no luck so I decided to try here. The zipper says “ideal” on it but I don’t know if that will be of any use. Thanks for trying to help <3

I've already commented here,
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...des-and-markings.738785/page-16#post-33330859
but the poster asked "Might you know of a place where I can purchase an authentication report that I can use for my paypal dispute?" The fake was purchased from Poshmark. Does anyone have any additional recommendations for an authentication service?

grayciesmom, would you happen to have the URL of the Poshmark listing?
