I've already commented here,
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...des-and-markings.738785/page-16#post-33330859
but the poster asked "Might you know of a place where I can purchase an authentication report that I can use for my paypal dispute?" The fake was purchased from Poshmark. Does anyone have any additional recommendations for an authentication service?

grayciesmom, would you happen to have the URL of the Poshmark listing?

Have you referred Brittane -- @shoplastdance here?

Although I'm the authenticator who refuses to authenticate listings on Poshmark and/or promote the site, I'm aware that there are some honest sellers there. (And sadly, they suffer because of the wrongdoings of the site and the less honest sellers.)

I ask whether you referred her here because perhaps she's an honest one who will admit her mistake, apologize profusely and refund your payment, possibly without having to get PM involved.

Could one of you wonderful ladies take a look at this. Doesn't look right to my untrained eyes.
Vintage Coach Bag

Seller . Designer Wardrobe -Julia C

There's no way to tell anything from those 2 photos. We need clear, readable photos of the creed stamp and serial number. Almost every Coach style has been faked and that one is no exception.

Will try and ask for another pic of the creed etc
It's fake.

I enlarged the creed as shown below. Serial number is X7R-9021

And sharpened to make it more legible:

Good morning! So.....I made a hasty purchase prior to getting authentication, shamefully my first time doing so. This bag is a mystery and I’m hoping that it falls into the category of nothing being consistent with vintage Coach, lol. The factory code is “A” which we know, after reading the Salearea guide, was a USA plant that was used in early years, but this bag was made in 1997. It also has a bullseye, indicating it was an outlet bag. I have not accepted the bag yet, and am hoping that she is authenticate. I’ve included extra photos of the creed, bullseye, and hardwear. Thanks a million!!!

Item: Belmont bag
Seller: abeadle

Listing number: na
Comments: I feel I should correct myself for honesty purposes (Catholic guilt), lol...this is actually my second purchase I made without getting authenticated and I pinky promise I won’t do it again!!! Thank you to the amazing authenticators in the group. :)

The A plant code was rarely used once Coach had converted that location to their corporate offices, the last use I can find was one bag in January 1998.

As for your confession... for your penance, say 5 Our Fathers and 5 Hail Marys. Now go thy way and sin no more. ;)

Thanks for the additional info...as well as penance recommendation. I literally laughed out loud!! ;)
