Just a comment on the first one - it's genuine, but from the visual evidence and the seller's measurement of the strap drop, there's no way that bag could be worn cross-body as she describes it

Comments: Hi all! I am new here, so please bear with me. I hope I’m posting in the correct place. I searched through forums and this website and couldn’t find any exact authentication for my purse, so I’m asking for help please! I can usually spot a fake, but I’m not 100% positive on this one as it was my late Mother in-law’s that I found in her closet, so I don’t have a lot of details except for what I’ve googled. My usual authenticity tests prove it to be real. I’ve included pictures of the creed, zipper, stitching and logo. Thanks for the help!

I purchased this court, but now I think the flaw is that it is counterfeit. Im including the creed which was not in the original listing and red flags are flying. I dont have too much experience with the Turkish made bags, but the serial appears wrong to me. Im also realizing now that the strap is not adjustable. Would like to know so I can open a case if needed. Thanks in advance

All are fine.

Regarding the fake you got from Etsy, did you file a dispute? I've found that Etsy is only close behind Poshmark when it comes to responding to reports of fakes -- they don't! But if you paid for it using Paypal or a credit card, you should have protection even if the seller isn't responsive.

As someone who isn't a fan of Poshmark, I recommend caution (if not avoidance).

But the bag you got is an authentic Court bag. It's not "very" vintage as described by the seller, having been made in 1998. (It's just officially vintage by a year.)

The creed, serial number and spacing is correct for Turkey. EVERY bag and every country of manufacture needs to be evaluated independently of whatever "rules" one has read.

Thanks for replying, I know you’re not a fan. How do you date the turkey bags?

Thanks for noting the strap drop. I've noticed that many people list the vintage coach bags as cross-body, when they're really shoulder bags.
