Thank you!
Messaged you regarding etsy.

All are fine.

Regarding the fake you got from Etsy, did you file a dispute? I've found that Etsy is only close behind Poshmark when it comes to responding to reports of fakes -- they don't! But if you paid for it using Paypal or a credit card, you should have protection even if the seller isn't responsive.

Comments: Hi all! I am new here, so please bear with me. I hope I’m posting in the correct place. I searched through forums and this website and couldn’t find any exact authentication for my purse, so I’m asking for help please! I can usually spot a fake, but I’m not 100% positive on this one as it was my late Mother in-law’s that I found in her closet, so I don’t have a lot of details except for what I’ve googled. My usual authenticity tests prove it to be real. I’ve included pictures of the creed, zipper, stitching and logo. Thanks for the help!

If your usual authenticity tests include whether or not it has a YKK zipper, and I'm assuming they do from your photos, please read my Signature under every one of my posts and take it to heart. Then read the YKK Zipper Myth section of the Salearea Coach Guides, posted here:
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/salearea-guides.983575/#post-32252957

Reading the section on Authenticity Guides - Fact and Myth will also give you a lot of useful, up to date and accurate information.

YKK zippers don't and CAN'T prove a thing about authenticity, there's no need for photos of that particular detail.

Thanks for noting the strap drop. I've noticed that many people list the vintage coach bags as cross-body, when they're really shoulder bags.

True, depending of course on the owners height and "degree Of Fluffiness", manyof the older bags were designed to be carried from one shoulder and drop straight down to somewhere at the hip, which is how I wore my bags from high school until some time in the 1990s when I started to have bad problems with that shoulder and eventually had to switch to a true crossbody length with the weight of the bag now carried on the left shoulder instead of the right. Classic and vintage bags usually had strap lengths between 30 and 44 inches, the longer crossbody straps are a pretty recent fashion that's caught on.

Thanks for replying, I know you’re not a fan. How do you date the turkey bags?

The same way as any other bag from that time period. The Salearea Coach Guides have sections on both creeds and serial numbers, including how to interpret the codes of bags made since 1994:
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/salearea-guides.983575/#post-32252957

Individual physical DETAILS of things like the creed stamping and the fonts used in serial numbers could be different for different plants, but the meanings of the codes stayed the same most of the time, although some stamps had scrambled-up codes and some plant codes were "floaters" and used by different plants as needed.

Authentic from 2001.

Please remember link to listings and seller IDs in requests. (Not necessary to repost this one. Just remember for next time.)

Also, when the pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to post in the request. Only in cases where a listing is missing pictures and the seller sent them by email/message is it necessary to post those extra pics.
Certainly. Thank you.

Item: Bleecker City Canvas Field Bag (70894, Silver/Natural/Fawn, 2012)
Seller: Goodwill Store, $10 ($298 in 2013)

Comments: I've searched the Wayback but I couldn't find this exact same bag. I did find similar Canvas City bags in the Men's collection of Spring 2013. And I found the online Ad below from 2014 that describes it as a Bleecker Canvas City Field Bag; please give an opinion about authenticity, thank you.

The bag appears to be intact but very dirty. I know that it may be difficult to clean, and the white webbing strap will probably be impossible to clean - but it looks like a nice bag and for only $10 I decided to give it a try, thanks again!

It's authentic and I've seen some of the miracles you've performed. I have no doubt about your ability to make that bag look good!
