First , the bag didn't come with those charms, they were added by one of the bag's owners or sellers. We've seen plenty of fake charms and keychains on genuine bags and vice versa.

Second, why do you think the bag OR the keychain must be fake? That keychain style 1810 has been very closely faked but we have comparison photos that tell me that the keychain is genuine. I don't have photos of the bag but I'm not seeing any indication that the bag is fake either, especially after comparing it with other genuine bags from the same Turkish plant with the same exact fonts in the serial number.

Thanks to BeenBurned for the keychain photos, click on the thumbnails:

and compare the serial number details in this GENUINE bag to the one you asked about, it may be from a year or two earlier but there's no doubt in my mind that both serial numbers were stamped by the same stamp:

Please explain your concerns.

Thanks for all your help! I got myself knotted up over the keychain, so thanks for all the info. I am excited to finally have one, as soon as I buy it. I am glad I checked here, as always!

I agree that both the bag and the keychain are authentic.

ETA: I actually had a close fake version of that keychain in my possession way back when. It wasn't until I got home and looked more closely at the colors that I realized it was fake.

The side by side comps show and even closer fake than the one I posted here.

Thank you for your help, as well, I have never found a keychain and was very unsure about it. I always learn here!

Hello
I've been looking for this in BT for a long time but I thought this bag came with a key ring button snapped inside on the upper left corner of the Creed patch? Am I recalling correctly? Please authenticate. It hasn't shipped yet I could possibly cancel the order.

Could be. I have another example with no key fob, for comparison. I believe @Hyacinth said it couldn't be authenticated. I'll try to find that post.

Oops I had just sadly contacted customer service to cancel order.

It still seems to be missing the keyfob, but right now I' can't be sure either way. I thought the plant code was M, but if it's actually A and the MONTH code is M, it still might be real. I found a different style with the serial number in the correct format and an "A" plant code, and the fonts look the same as the one you asked about. I'd like BeenBurned to take a look if she's available.

The questionable Metropolis Flap:
1996_A maybe-plant-QUEST_6AM-9022 + NO keyfob-a.jpg

and a Carousel Bag 9942 with the same serial font and an outlet stamp even though the digits in the prefix are flipped:

My apologies if I screwed up. If the production codes had been in the correct order it probably wouldn't have happened.

No apologies needed. It happens. The No. does look a lot like the A plant style 9989 ( frankenbag, lol) which I still own. This led me to jump on it thinking it was only a transpose issue.

Hello, authenticators. I haven't let my daughter's wedding in less than two weeks stop me from perusing ebay for these duffle sacs. Everyone needs a break from the madness!

Vintage Coach No 9085 Duffle Sac Feed Bag Shoulder bag MOCHA

How is the leather of bags made in Turkey? Compared to the USA or NYC bags?
Any guesses on the color? (sorry if this annoys--color distinction was never my strength and after cataract surgery it didn't get any better!!)

Thanks in advance and thanks for all you do!

Genuine. The only brown shade in the catalogs for late 1997 is Mahogany, and I'm not going to try and guess the color from the listing photos. But AFAIK Mocha hadn't been available for years. Maybe someone else can comment on the feel of the leather, I don't think I have any Turkish-made bags.

Don't depend on most sellers to know the correct color names.

I purchased this bag but I’m looking at the creed which wasn’t posted in the original posting and there’s too many dashes? Did some bags have an extra dash after the No.? Or is this a red flag? thanks in advance.

Genuine Compact Pouch. A few bags from 2000 and 2001 had that extra dash in the serial number.

I find plant D very tricky! It's one of those that I always check. It's the only plant I have saved pics of Creed stamps of different years... And I still have to ask.

Yep, it was around for a long time. I was really surprised when Coach gave one of their China plants that D code for a while. You think they would have just given it an honorable retirement.

Thank you for the authentication, Hyacinth! I was wondering about the color because the bag looked like mahogany to me. You're the best!
