Hello Dear Authenticators! When you have a moment, could you please give me your thoughts on the following?
Item: Coach East West Legacy Bag (?)
Measurements: Length 15 in., Width 4.5 in., Height 10 in.
Comments: I just picked this up at GW. But when checking the style number, it seems like it's one digit off (1416 rather than 1417). I'm just wondering if this is a fake or I'm just missing something? (Either of which is a possibility!) I'd also love to know what the style is actually called.View attachment 4495256 View attachment 4495257 View attachment 4495258 View attachment 4495259 View attachment 4495260 View attachment 4495261
It's fine. 1416 is a slightly larger version of the bag than 1417. It's a leather soft duffle.

Hi.

Item Name: I think it’s a Carly style 10619
Link: i did not buy this from an online auction site, so I don’t have seller/link info.

Sorry, it's VERY fake, from the fabric pattern to the too-stamped hardware to the fake serial number and its invalid prefix.to the really bad and always fake C pattern lining. Oh, and the word "DETAL" is misspelled and that mistake is only found in fakes, the people at Coach HQ do know how to spell and to use proper American English grammar and punctuation.. It's illegal to trade it or sell it anywhere in the US, and should never be donated to any shop or site for resale.

Ok, thanks for looking. No need to get sarcastic! I didn’t notice that and I’m the one that’s out $20 :)

Thanks for making me feel dumber and worse than I already did though!

No one's trying to make you feel dumb. Very few shoppers actually read the words in the creed and that's a place where quite a few fakes have obvious mistakes, like spelling errors or stating that a bag is made of cowhide or leather when it's actually fabric.

If you don't have a lot of experience with buying Coach you should always buy only from stores or sites that offer a full 100 percent refund guarantee if it turns out that there's a problem with the bag or other item. Better yet, limit your buying to places where you can have items authenticated here BEFORE buying.

It may not seem like it now, but you're lucky it was only 20 dollars, way too many people have made much more expensive mistakes buying "Coach" or any other highly faked brand from places that don't stand behind their product and don't accept responsibility for the fakes they sell.

I have a couple more for you, when you have time. As alway, I appreciate your expertise!

Seller: Salearea

Seller: threedogga

1- genuine

2 - I'm not 100 percent sure about the Sonoma since the serial number isn't readable but I don't see any red flags and it seems OK. The other one is fine.

ETA - Echo, echo ...

Some Facebook groups have admin that care about honesty and actually ban members of the group who sell fakes.

Although it's "only" $20, it's your money and you have a right to demand a full refund.

And if necessary, refer your seller here.
(Is there a link to that Facebook post of the crook who ripped you off?)
