Is that because Weston Tote's number 9021 is different from this bag's number? Since it's blurry, I can't see it well...

I agree. We say over and over again to not buy a bag where the creed and serial isn't legible. It doesn't look right to me either.

It's genuine, made in 2010 so it can't be considered "vintage" yet. I don't know the exact name but I believe it might be one of the Penelope Signature styles.

And no, we can't give any pricing advice, you need to check Ebay's record of Completed sales for style number 14690 to see what other examples of the same style in similar condition have sold for.

Just a comment on the retracted bids.

It's a good idea to make note of retractions on sellers' items but in this case, I don't think the seller is a problem.

While it's sometimes a red flag indicating a shill bidder, in this case, I think it's more likely either a problem buyer or just a flake. That bidder is at risk of being restricted (at best) or banned (at worst) because she's retracted 22 bids in just the last 6 months! (Ebay rules allow retractions in rare cases and those that are allowed are for mistakes, i.e., someone bids $200 when they intended to bid $20 and the "mistaken" bid is supposed to be corrected and replaced by the right amount.) Retractions such as that bidder is doing aren't allowed.

Thank you for your comment, @Hyacinth! I didn't buy it - since there was one picture only, I asked the seller to send me the creed shot. I'm going to tell her that the bag is fake and report it to the Marketplace team, but the rest isn't up to me.

Comments: Purse has been offered to me by friend that knows I love rare (to me) styles or colors. I got excited but then I noticed the creed, I asked if I could have some pictures to research before buying and I got a couple. I know sometimes the creeds showed misprints and I hope this is one, but you are the ones that know for sure. TIA

The bag is fine.

It's not uncommon on some Sonomas to see cases where the month and year codes were transposed. It is one of those legitimate mistakes.

Thank you so much BeenBurned, I am glad is authentic and the creed is fine, but.... now I am in a pickle as I have sent an offer for another "rare to me" bag, and if accepted I can no longer afford this one, oh man!

Hello Dear Authenticators! When you have a moment, could you please give me your thoughts on the following?
Item: Coach East West Legacy Bag (?)
Measurements: Length 15 in., Width 4.5 in., Height 10 in.
Comments: I just picked this up at GW. But when checking the style number, it seems like it's one digit off (1416 rather than 1417). I'm just wondering if this is a fake or I'm just missing something? (Either of which is a possibility!) I'd also love to know what the style is actually called.
