IMPORTANT READ-ME

Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.
For further information, please refer to the first post on page 1 of this thread.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:
  • FOR ITEMS LISTED ONLINE:
    Item:
    Listing number:
    Seller and site where listed
    Link:
    Comments:

  • FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ONLINE:
    Item:
    Where purchased or how obtained
    Comments:
BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.
Thank you and be safe!

If the bag has a creed with the post-1993 "serial number" consisting of prefix with production information and suffix of the style number, there won't be a white label.

The following posts discuss 2 versions of a (different style) rogue, both the same style as each other but because they were made at different times, they have different creeds, serial numbers and labels.

So if there are listings you want looked at, post them and we can look. Depending on pictures in the listing(s), we might request more pictures.

Please supply actual links to the listing. And we need to see the entire bag including the small tags inside showing where it was made, as explained in Post Number One of this thread. Nothing can be authenticated with just a photo of the creed patch. Read Post # One and supply the required information and photos. Thank you

View attachment 4464831 The creed says g177322809. For the rogue quilted rivets in black. Seller rosciib mercari and Tradesy

Seller is rosciib on mercari and tradesey
By actual links, Hyacinth means the URL that when you click on it, it takes you to the listing:
Tradesy:
https://www.tradesy.com/i/coach-1941-rogue-with-quilting-and-rivets-black-leather-satchel/24221983/
Seller Rachel B

For pictures that are in the listing, you needn't copy them again into the post. If the seller sends additional pictures, you can add them to the post.

I think the bag is authentic.

I have another one for you:

Item: Bonnie Cashin Kisslock
Seller: threadaffairboutique
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-Rare-C...-Leather-Shoulder-Hobo-Purse-Bag/333190163792

It looks like the serial number is missing on this one, so I'm interested to see what you think. Thanks in advance!
The bag is authentic.

There used to be a separate leather piece with the serial number stamped on it but it must have fallen off and is missing. That is fairly common and isn't an issue.

Hi, I’m looking at a vintage bag on the local market with a Creed # F5B-9927. The seller said it is too hard for her to take a picture of the creed and gave me the numbers. These are the pictures I have. Can you please authenticate this bag? Thank you.

The picture shows enough of the creed and serial number to verify that it's authentic.
