Hi again! Am I wrong in feeling suspicious about this listing? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/323836599125

Have you ever heard anything bad about this seller? I really want this bag, but I feel weird about this. There are only stock photos, the seller has six to sell and has only five feedbacks, all as a buyer. Plus, they have yet to reply to my message asking for photos of the actual bags. What do you think? It seems too good to be true.

Hello. I'm hoping to authenticate this vintage purse listed on Poshmark. Thanks in advance!
Love the color!
I've never bought resale, so I'm a little dubious.

1. Item: Vintage Coach 65th Anniversary Shoulder Bag
Seller: lucie77
Link: https://posh.mk/uTCZgn5qCX

Genuine. Legacy Shoulder Bag made in 2006. The color was called Pond
@Carasu, note that it's not vintage and won't be vintage for 7 years. (20 years is the age at which most items are considered to be "vintage.")

Hi,
I got this little bag at a thrift shop and after bringing it home, I started to question it. I think the bag is authentic, but maybe the strap is a replacement?

The bag is authentic, style 9826.

I can't tell if the strap was made by Coach but it's not the original skinny strap that would have come with the bag. With that said, the color match looks perfect!

Hi There. I've been selling Coach vintage for years now without issue, but after my most recent experience that cost me a penalty on ebay, I thought I should be safe rather than sorry before proceeding with a listing. This a wristlet. It's seen better days and needs a cleaning. Please authenticate and if possible, give a manufacturer date. Thanks so much! This site is extremely helpful and the folks who do this for us are gracious with their time.

Seller charlese44 (5 ) BE SURE TO INCLUDE SELLER ID.

Your concerns are my concerns.

There's no way to know whether the seller has an authentic bag and without a proven history and with the number of close fakes of newer bags, I certainly wouldn't recommend this listing, especially when she has so many available!

In fact, in looking through other listings for the same bag, there few if any sellers whose listings show adequate details to prove authenticity.

Personally, I'd recommend buying directly from Coach for just a small amount more than the $200 charlese44 is charging:

I remembered about the seller ID right before I read your reminder. Sorry I forgot.

I was thinking the same thing about getting it from Coach. It'll just cost a tiny bit more.

This seller is also selling other Coach bags the same way; all stock pics, claiming to have a few of each. Seems to be the most popular they have, too.

Thank you for your advice. I'm definitely going to Coach. The hell with saving a few bucks!

It's a mini signature wristlet, probably around 10-15 years old.

Coach has made a number of similar items and without a creed, it's difficult to identify the exact style.

ETA: Unless you're expert, it's better for your peace of mind as well as your reputation and account that you verify authenticity of any item that you didn't personally purchase from a legitimate (authorized) retailer.

As you've learned, mistakes are made and the negative impact they can have on your ability to sell can hurt.

In this case, the price difference isn't even that much (relatively) for the peace of mind of knowing you're getting the real deal.

For a seller with a proven history, my advice would likely be different. This seller hasn't proven herself honest (yet).

Here is another one to authenticate. I bought it ages ago and have tried to repair as best as possible (something was glued to flap and front of bag). If authentic, do you know the approximate age? Thanks in advance!

Style: Flap Saddle Bag (please verify)
Measurements: 9.5 x 8 x 4
