Genuine. I actually had a smaller cosmetic case in the same pattern and fabric and I'm not sure of the material, probably nylon with some kind of plastic or PVC coating to make it water- and makeup-proof. It might have been an outlet-only item (what we refer to as MFF - Made For Factory, which is usually what that small dot on the Made In China tag means), so it might not be in the Wayback. Give me a while and I may be able to find the name. It may have been from some time around 2008-2010 give or take a year.
Thank you! No rush. I am gifting it to a friend. She liked a siggie Pouch about the same size I thrifted for her, as neck issues have caused her to take a break from larger bags.
There is a tiny crack in the material where a crease naturally forms close to the handle attachment, where there is stress. I’m not overly concerned, and I’ll point it out to my friend. Did you recall any cracking issues with your pouch?

I've added a lot more info to my previous post. And no, no cracking, but I didn't use it often enough for it to show any wear, and I included it in one of my "Use it or get rid of it" clean-outs a while back. It was always carried inside a larger bag anyway so never really subjected to stress.

ETA - I had a similar problem to your friend's about 20 years ago, so I switched to bags with crossbody straps to put the weight on the shoulder that wasn't damaged. I also added lightweight bags like Kiplings to my collection. All the Coaches that couldn't be converted to a long strap were gradually sold or donated. :crybaby:

OT - Holy Moly, MeTV is showing MONKEES reruns!!! :yahoo:

I just saw your edits lol, awesome sauce, thank you very much!
That is quite a bit of info, that’ll do just fine  I was curious about the vinyl material. It’ll be a fun little bag my friend can switch into during the summer, or pass along to her girly-girl granddaughter. If I found a second one, I would keep it for a cosmetic bag.

THANK YOU!!! I'M ATTACHING SOME PHOTOS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP. KAREN

I'm late in responding to this. I started my reply but had to go to a Father's Day celebration and now I'm back.

Thank you for the additional picture. It looks fine.

As I'd commented earlier, I'm not a fan of any seller using stock images, not only because it's infringing on the rights holders' property but because there's no way for you to know what to expect.

And many dishonest sellers DO use stock photos to sell their fakes on many sites, but on Amazon, it's even more difficult to tell where the seller is located.

Personal story: A couple of years ago when David Ortiz/Big Papi retired from the Red Sox, my son wanted a MLB shirt with Ortiz's name and number. I ordered from what appeared to be a US seller and the stock image showed the name and label of the licensed manufacturer.

The shirt we received came from China, was missing 1/2 the letters in "BOSTON" so it showed as "BO ON" and the player's name was misspelled as "Ortz."

But I ordered based on the STOCK PHOTO, expecting to get this:

Hello. I'm hoping to authenticate a few vintage purses listed on eBay. Thanks in advance!

1. Item: Willis Bag
Seller: gwcram12
Link:

Welome to tPF!
1- FAKE. Problems with the serial number font. the dowel, and that much too shaggy interior among other things
On May 8, the same bag from gwcram12 was questioned:
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...ost-for-format.889527/page-2477#post-33097979

And it was deemed fake:
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...ost-for-format.889527/page-2478#post-33098213

And in November, 2016, the same seller had another fake:
https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...oach-fakes-here.824098/page-257#post-30788460

DO NOT buy from gwcram12.

Hi I need help. I am searching for a quilted with rivets rogue in oxblood or black. Style 22809. I am searching and I’ve had two sellers tell me there is no white rage inside the kiss lock or zipper pocket. But does have coach tag in main interior. Do the quilted rivets oxblood and black rogues style 22809 have the style tag in the pockets??

Got it. I really appreciate all of the detailed feedback. Next time I'll do a search before posting-just getting used to this format. Thanks again!

If the bag has a creed with the post-1993 "serial number" consisting of prefix with production information and suffix of the style number, there won't be a white label.

The following posts discuss 2 versions of a (different style) rogue, both the same style as each other but because they were made at different times, they have different creeds, serial numbers and labels.

So if there are listings you want looked at, post them and we can look. Depending on pictures in the listing(s), we might request more pictures.

Hello, authenticators. Wondering about this duffle. Also its age and, if you can, its color.

Vintage COACH/Bonnie Cashin XLarge Tabac Duffle Sac - Circa 1970's GLUE IN
Seller: fotoninacat
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/173817420687
Item number: 173817420687

So, I have a duffle sac in a beautiful British Tan but I'm wondering if this is a slightly different color. Talking about that tabac / putty / mocha Bermuda Triangle of browns again.

Thanks in advance.

It's genuine.

It's really a waste of time guessing at older tan and brown colors. That bag is at least 40 years old, can you imagine how much a color can change over 40 years? ESPECIALLY if it hasn't even been given a bath yet?

AFTER it's been cleaned you can probably figure it out from this 1981 color chart:

Hi is this 9085 authentic? New to the platform, if I have posted incorrectly please advise what steps I have to take. Thank you

https://www.etsy.com/listing/699990282/coach-vintage-xl-bucket-honey-tabac?ref=user_profile

As it says at the top of every page in this authentication forum, **SEE FIRST POST FOR FORMAT**

Read post number One and follow the instructions. But you'll have to ask the seller to send or post a readable photo of the creed stamp and serial number, because even with all those photos the seller didn't post a pic of the most important detail we need to authenticate.

Hi, I'm new to the forum so hopefully I'm doing this correctly. I would like to have a Coach Court bag G0P-9870 authenticated. The listing stated the color as Mahogany. I've already purchased the bag from eBay so I no longer have the link. Dimensions are approx. 7.75" (W) x 8" (H) x 3.5" (D). Thank you.IMG_0244.jpg
