Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Regarding sample sales, the actual sales are usually handled by an outside company, so the receipt would not be from Coach but rather from XYZ Sample Sales Inc. And the item might be listed as “Bag, small” e.g.
[I haven’t wormed my way into any Coach sample sales, but I attended some from other brands]

Thank you! Let me find the listing, it's on my phone. I'm sure the girl selling it probably didn't realize. To me, it's actually a fairly convincing fake, if it just weren't for the lame hardware! Otherwise it looks really close to the black version I have. The leather is pretty thick, high quality, a nice rich, red similar to my other darker red 90's Coach bags. Too bad it's a fake!

What type of "local agent" is it? Is it a seller who buys to resell? Is it someone on Facebook?

The link you showed is to Coach's website. Did the "agent" buy from Coach directly?

And for the record, while looking for that listing, I found another fake of the same style and color with a different serial number. (It's a closely faked style.)

Thanks for the information, if you ever do get into one of the Coach sample sales, please post a copy of their receipt (with any of your personal details "redacted", of course).

So far, I think it's okay.

I'd like to see a few more pictures.
1. The price tag, both sides
2. The "made in" label sewn into the lining, both sides

And just out of curiosity, I'd like to know where the seller is located.

the seller is located in Malaysia as im from Malaysia too. she supposedly travel to europe and us once a month to pick up stuff for buyers.

I think it's okay. Although the receipt shows the correct style, color code and UPC code, I think it's odd that the description doesn't match the description on the tag. (Tag states that's it's Disney Dumbo but the receipt shows it as Large pouch .....) I'm not sure why that is but otherwise, I don't see any problems.

Other opinions are welcome.

yeah i realized that too. however, the barcode numbers seems to match

It's actually an obvious fake because of the creed prefix, the solid brass stamping on the hardware, and the mismatched grommets.

This style is extremely hard to find, especially in red.
