The J8D- prefix also has a problem with the underline in "No". In fact the entire creed patch is a mess, it's the wrong shape too. Here's a 1996 version of the same bag, the L indicates it's one of the Cabin Bags that was included with the 1996 Lexus Special Edition, but the shape of the creed patch would have been the same in all the Cabin Bags: And the Cabin Bags wouldn't have been made in the same "D" plant as the handbags!:View attachment 4428070

Thank you for confirming the NON-authenticity of collectibleonceloved listing.

I saved pictures of the bag too!

The problem isn't that collectibleonceloved has a lot of experience selling Coach. It's that she thinks she's expert but misses the most obvious problems! (Did you see this morning's post on the Hall of Shame for her fake signature demi bag? Yikes! That mistake should never have happened!)

There are few things quite as dangerous as people who THINK they're smart and don't need anyone else's advice.

Current non-purse-related examples of that "rule" should be obvious. :graucho:

And unrelated, but inspired by my recent attempt to find, on pages with dozens and dozens and dozens of listings for recent styles, just ONE LOUSY BLEEDIN' LISTING WITH A DECENT CREED PHOTO, or any creed photo at all - may all those lazy-arse sellers go to he!! in a handbasket!
And I want to be the one stoking the fires!

"He!! in a Handbasket" is a fabulous saying..not nearly used enough!

Hello, again. I'm interested in authenticating this and seeing if anyone can hazard a guess as to color. According to the seller, the photos are close in color to the bag in real life.

That seller did have a fake listed in 2014 but evrything since then has apparently been ok. It's a genuine Duffle Sac probably from the later 1970s to the very early 1980s. The color was probably Burgundy.

Super fast and so interesting! Thank you, Hyacinth. If anyone wants to chime in with a color thought, I'd be very appreciative.
