I'm interested in this koi charm but I have never seen one on a dog leash clip before and the little coach tag on the chain looks weird. I am no expert by any means but I shopped for one of these for a while and I would have preferred the clip over the key ring style I eventually bought. Is this authentic? Thank you!

Item: Coach Koi Fish Bag Charm

It's authentic.

The charm is rarer than the keychain. (Keychain is style 6522.) I don't know the style number of the charm.

Once I found the charm version, I sold the keychain version. I prefer it too.
It's authentic.

I have it in my files as 92268.

If this is the listing, you should cancel. The bag is fake.

ETA: and the seller has 2 listings for the same fake!

And an FYI, I don't recommend Poshmark. They don't remove listings of fakes, their "authenticators" don't recognize fakes when buyers file disputes after receiving fakes and they've also deemed authentic items as fake.

ETA: Although the fake Regina bag isn't currently listed on ebay, it may show up there, listed by seller quantproduction786. My records show that the bag WAS on ebay about a week ago.

Rather than going through five listings - are you interested in buying any of these, BTW? - I'm just going to say that there's no rhyme or reason for many of Coach's color names, names and colors could change on a yearly basis, and the only way to determine the "official" name of a color is to post the photos including the creed and serial number and hope that someone has a catalog from that time period so they can look up the color name. And even then it can be hard to be sure, the various tan and brown shades available just in one year for some classic and vintage Coaches is a prime example. Color can vary depending on the condition and fading of the leather. Most sellers have no idea what an item's official color name really is, just as they have no idea what year a bag was made, what Coach actually called the style, or whether or not it had any connection to Bonnie Cashin. With very few exceptions, most seller descriptions should be assumed to be at least partly guesswork.

Unless you actually need an authentication, the best thing to do is to take color questions to the main forum.

DON'T depend on color names in listings, most of the time they're wrong.

Thank you, that makes total sense! I haven't narrowed it down yet enough to ask for authentication for the bag, it was mostly just a question about colors. I know even less about Vachetta than I do coach.
I did get the wristlet, but I didn't want to get a wristlet which was maybe "clay" and a bag in "grey-green" only to receive them and find out that even though they look similar on the listings they are totally different colors in person. I wasn't sure how many of the similar grey, green, clay light colors were produced, or if they were probably the same color, just variations in listing terms and wear. I got a little carried away trying to figure it out, and curious if there was another way to find general information like this or a better place to ask.
When you say main forum is that when you go to the page where the premier and contemporary designers are listed, then you go to "coach"? Underneath the stickies I just post a new thread?

People often don't know the official colors. Legacy came in a dark green called juniper. I don't have a catalog that mentions clay but there is mention of that color on the forum. The last one isn't from the same collection so probably had a different color name. Interesting that the price tag has the color blacked out. If you are looking for clay, you might try not putting the color in the search bar on ebay, but clicking on all the colors that it might be described as in the color selection, including unspecified. As a seller, I would put clay, gray and green in my title in order to attract the most buyers who might be looking for it, but not all sellers think that way.
Thank you that is very helpful!

Your link didn't work but in my post above, I showed the correct links to both listings from quant786. Both listings are the same fake bag. And the fact that quant786's listing was removed from ebay (on seller ID quantproduction786) on April 25 and she listed on PM tells me that she's knowingly and willingly listing a fake and doesn't have any reservations about ripping off buyers.

Interestingly, you had already asked about the same bag and @Hyacinth saved you from wasting your hard-earned money on a fake. Then I commented in this post on April 24:

Hi,
I've been looking for the proper place to ask if this bag is authentic, hope I finally found it. I called Coach & they said it was from their 2003 collection, but had little detail on it. Please see pics Creed no. is L05Q-1388 Comes with shoulder strap Also if you know thew name of the bag it would be helpful. Thanks in advance
