Hi,
I've been looking for the proper place to ask if this bag is authentic, hope I finally found it. I called Coach & they said it was from their 2003 collection, but had little detail on it. Please see pics Creed no. is L05Q-1388 Comes with shoulder strap Also if you know thew name of the bag it would be helpful. Thanks in advance
I'm sorry but the bag is fake.

And your answer from Coach shows how little they understand their own products and why calling them isn't helpful at all.

If Coach employees knew how to read serial numbers, they'd have known that even if the bag was authentic, it would have been made in 2005, NOT 2003. And in fact, 1388 isn't even a legitimate style number.

Thank you, that makes total sense! I haven't narrowed it down yet enough to ask for authentication for the bag, it was mostly just a question about colors. I know even less about Vachetta than I do coach.
I did get the wristlet, but I didn't want to get a wristlet which was maybe "clay" and a bag in "grey-green" only to receive them and find out that even though they look similar on the listings they are totally different colors in person. I wasn't sure how many of the similar grey, green, clay light colors were produced, or if they were probably the same color, just variations in listing terms and wear. I got a little carried away trying to figure it out, and curious if there was another way to find general information like this or a better place to ask.
When you say main forum is that when you go to the page where the premier and contemporary designers are listed, then you go to "coach"? Underneath the stickies I just post a new thread?

Yes, but don't expect a simple answer unless you're asking about one specific bag. There are dozens of posts in both the main Coach forum and the Vintage Chat threads about colors so you might want to do a Search before you post a question that may have already been asked and answered a dozen times already. The key thing is to supply details that allow us to accurately date the item you're asking about, and DON'T expect sellers to know the correct color names. It doesn't matter what a seller calls it, what Coach calls it is more important. And what's Sage one year might be a ccompletely different shade three years later. The only Coach color name you can reasonably depend on is probably Black.

Maybe I didn't understand the point of your question. There was only one grayish green Legacy color; the color called clay. (The color juniper is a dark green.) However, that color in particular aged differently on different bags. Some of them yellowed. If you bought two Legacy items in clay, they might not match exactly. I've bought two brand new items in the same color from Coach that didn't match.

Thanks, but the extra photos weren't needed, BeenBurned already confirmed the bag as Fake and I agree with her completely. There's nothing there that would ever have been found on a genuine Coach, from the really bad SIDEWAYS C pattern on the front to the hardware to the very fake creed patch. The creed in the first set of photos was legible enough to read, but it would have been obvious that it was fake just from the sideways C pattern..The fact that BeenBurned mentioned the serial number codes in her post two hours before you added the photos tells me that she had no problem reading the number, or she would have asked for a better creed photo in her post.

It's a very bad fake and you need to get your money back. Also, I agree that a Coach employee had NO business, and was actually violating company policy, implying that the bag is from one of their collections. That's why Coach employees are NOT allowed to give authentication opinions. Nothing can be authenticated as genuine just from a verbal reading of the serial number!

Hi! Kindly help me with this.... I thought of buying this in ebay today.... but to the seller’s avail the she declined my offer because according to her I need to include $90 for the item to be shipped to me.... I’m a bit disappointed.... is this seller trying to trick me? Because the ebay clearly stated that I have to add $40 for the shipping and why does the seller wants me to add the $90 for shipping plus the $101 for the item itself? That would be added to the $40 shipping fee from ebay plus without the tax. Help me pls. I’m new to buying things from US especially ebay/etsy.... it’s been months since I’ve been eyeing on regina bag..... [emoji22]

According to the listing, the seller is using eBay's Global Shipping Program. The program calculates the price you would pay for shipping to your location. She shouldn't be asking for an additional $90 for shipping.

She declined your offer, but you can still just click on Buy It Now for $101 and you will see the total price you'd need to pay, including shipping.
