Hi everyone,

I've been trying to get my hands on a Coach mini belt bag from the 90s and was hoping to get an opinion on whether these bags are authentic. I really like the green ones, but I've been referencing the link to the black one since the seller claims to be the original owner. Any input would be great, thanks again!

I looked because I am curious (nosy) and I see that the 'black' bag is actually listed as green on her Pmark page!

The third one is definitely not green. Sometimes black will fade over the years and you'll see a hint of some other color like very dark blue, but that bag is black. The inside will usually show the actual color even when the outside is a bit faded. Never assume that a seller's description is always accurate.

Hi, everyone! I’m a newbie to Coach vintage bags and have fell in love with Regina and Willis lately.... unfortunately, my country doesn’t have vintage shops here...

Can someone authenticate this? Is it $179 too much for the bag?

It would be a lot of money even if it was authentic, but it is NOT a genuine Coach! The serial number is completely wrong and would never have been used by Coach. The seller also had a small coin case that we questioned last year.

I hope you didn't already buy it?

I didn’t! Good thing it can’t be shipped to my country... you’re a lifesaver! Where else can I buy a good authentic regina bag in bone? I’ve been eyeing on it [emoji1374] thank you so much!
Welcome @Shabbylita.

I'm glad Hyacinth was able to save you from spending your hard-earned money on a fake.

For future requests, please refer to post 1, page 1 for the posting format and info. It's important to make sure not only that we're looking at the right listing but the seller ID is important for being able to search whether the seller has a "history."

In this case, the seller is:
quantproduction786

Although the listing you asked about was ended early by the seller, it appears that she knowingly relisted the fake.

All I can tell you is to keep looking. The light colors are hard to find and often the genuine ones will have some sort of problem, light colored leathers can be hard to keep clean. Some sellers will even try to cover the damage with cheap paint or even shoe polish.

Willises are also faked very often, always have any "Coach" authenticated before you buy it.

Thank you so much, @Hyacinth @BeenBurned! You guys are life savers!!! But I’d like to know if this other item’s really authentic? I’d like to have both of your opinion on this bag.... it’s from grovervintagesomething in IG.... IMG_9349.JPGIMG_9356.JPG

Gone AGAIN. Wonder if she'll try to make it 3 for 3?

It's genuine, but I hope the seller has posted more than 2 photos so you can judge the actual condition of the entire bag.

She did! it doesn’t have a hangtag tho.... she declared that it only had those scuff marks on the front side.... btw, does scuff marks still noticeable judging it by sight and touch on the leather after considering a color restoration? I know bone/ivory would be a tedious and delicate to take care of but the color is to die for!

Wait for WHATEVE or post at the Rehab and Rescue thread to ask questions about restoration, that's where most of the experts can be found.
